This is still very worth fighting for.

Even after Devore came out and said the following?
“It’s very important that we understand that the Taliban and Al-qaida does not present a existential threat to the United States.”
To: Kevin in California
Do you know what existential means?

Yes I do....
So what’s your point?
I respect Devore’s service to our country but he probably shouldn’t have said what he said. Maybe he was drunk when he said it. Who knows?
To: Kevin in California
There are plenty of other types of threats in the world aside from existential ones.

Capitol Weekly / Probolsky poll recently showed Chuck and Carly in a statistical tie.
Lewis Group poll of only Orange County GOP last week showed Chuck one point ahead of Carly. (I dont want to make too much of this, but its a reasonable stand-in for the state party at large.)
Since Campbells entry, polling trend lines are: Campbell static, Fiorina in decline, Chuck rising. Chuck has gone from about 5% to the 15-20% range. Carly has gone from the 30-25% range to the just-below-20% range

I’m a Californian, and a major big-time supporter of Governor Palin, and I’ll be supporting Chuck DeVore and voting for him.
Sorry, but Sarah can’t be right all the time, and she is wrong on this one.

So the probable result of conservatives splitting between DeVore and Fiorina will be the primary victory of the unelectable, unacceptable Tom Campbell. Great. Just great.

Honestly, Id rather be batting 1000 with Jim DeMint, who is in the Senate and knows what the Senate really needs. And what the Senate needs is fewer RINO's and party establishment types tipping the advantage toward Obozo.

Good people can disagree.I hope that does not mean you are supporting Fiorina. If you think Obama has been a financial train wreck, you better do your research on Fiorina.
To: pissant
DeMint will rework the party and hopefully run in 2012.

Just great.Try voting for and campaigning for the person you think will do the best job for a change. We might actually find the kind of change we want. The conservatie wing of the GOP has been playing it the way you seem to imply they should and look what it has gotten us, zip.

The on;y question is do you want to try with Campbell or Carly or go down fighting the good battle with DeVore?

He’s better than Fiorino.
She’s the worst of the candidates.
It’s Devore first, then Campbell, then way back Fiorino.
Unfortunately Devore can’t win.
