I appreciate Sarah Palin. I know sometimes you read that Im somehow a critic of Palins, but truth be told, I love the lady. You can say all day that she doesnt have the intellectual curiosity to be President which is to Palin as Cheneys gravitas was to Bush but you cannot deny this woman is fundamentally conservative, Christian, and would be a heck of a lot better than the present guy in the White House. For all of you who deny her intellect, you cannot deny her gut is conservative. I appreciate that.
She stood with Doug Hoffman when few others would and she stood with Rand Paul when few others would. I appreciate being able to stand side by side with her in those races. But she and I part ways in California.
I get that she endorsed John McCain. She would not be where she was, but for McCain. And I get that she endorsed Fiorina. In addition to Fiorina being the McCain campaign chair, there is a desperate desire among Republicans to stop Tom Campbell. I get it.
But Im with Chuck DeVore and I refuse to yield in this fight.
Im not abandoning Chuck just because Sarah Palin had decided to go elsewhere. As much as Id have loved her to get on board with Mike Lee in Utah and Marlin Stutzman in Indiana (hopefully shell go with Ken Buck in Colorado), we dont always have to see eye to eye. Honestly, Id rather be batting 1000 with Jim DeMint, who is in the Senate and knows what the Senate really needs. Right now I am batting that thousand. DeMint is with Chuck DeVore. So am I.

>>Im staying with Chuck DeVore<<
I asked but Chuck said his couch already has someone so I was on my own...
Good people can disagree.
I am for chuck also...
Bravo!
Even after Devore came out and said the following?
“It’s very important that we understand that the Taliban and Al-qaida does not present a existential threat to the United States.”
Do you know what existential means?
Yes I do....
So what’s your point?
I respect Devore’s service to our country but he probably shouldn’t have said what he said. Maybe he was drunk when he said it. Who knows?
There are plenty of other types of threats in the world aside from existential ones.
Never mind. I saw you had posted in it.
I’m a Californian, and a major big-time supporter of Governor Palin, and I’ll be supporting Chuck DeVore and voting for him.
Sorry, but Sarah can’t be right all the time, and she is wrong on this one.
So the probable result of conservatives splitting between DeVore and Fiorina will be the primary victory of the unelectable, unacceptable Tom Campbell. Great. Just great.
And what the Senate needs is fewer RINO's and party establishment types tipping the advantage toward Obozo.
I hope that does not mean you are supporting Fiorina. If you think Obama has been a financial train wreck, you better do your research on Fiorina.
DeMint will rework the party and hopefully run in 2012.
Try voting for and campaigning for the person you think will do the best job for a change. We might actually find the kind of change we want. The conservatie wing of the GOP has been playing it the way you seem to imply they should and look what it has gotten us, zip.
Campbell is very electable in CA and Boxer is very beatable. The on;y question is do you want to try with Campbell or Carly or go down fighting the good battle with DeVore?
He’s better than Fiorino.
She’s the worst of the candidates.
It’s Devore first, then Campbell, then way back Fiorino.
Unfortunately Devore can’t win.
