This could end up helping Chuck DeVore. Chuck will be getting more attention, because of this.

Pro-Life Group Endorses Fiorina

http://corner.nationalreview.com/post/?q=NGUxOGU4MTkxNzhkZWRlZGY1NzlkNzVlZTcyNmFiOTI=

Today the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund, a national pro-life political action committee, announced their endorsement of Carly Fiorina, candidate for U.S. Senate in California. Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund President Marjorie Dannenfelser commented on the endorsement:

“We’ve been waiting for Carly Fiorina for a long time—in fact, since the day Barbara Boxer was elected to the U.S. Senate. From a pro-woman, pro-life perspective, there could be no greater contrast. She embraces and advances the rights of women and unborn children, following in the footsteps of the earliest women in politics. Susan B. Anthony and the early feminists understood, as Carly Fiorina does, that undermining the rights of one never advances the rights of another.”

A message from Melanie Morgan concerning this fiasco:

I’ve been involved in California politics for the better part of two decades and I am shocked, disgusted and sickened by what has happened to Chuck DeVore at the hand of Carly Fiorina and her establishment Republican political operatives.

Please read this riveting account of intrigue and back-stabbing by Fiorina’s campaign and why it should make a difference with your vote June 8th.

And then make a donation to the Chuck DeVore for US Senate campaign.

Our country needs him.

Sincerely,

Melanie Morgan

CA Pro-Life Council to endorse Fiorina over DeVore. She has “the resources to win”

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/nov05election/detail?entry_id=62739

Just got this scoop from California Pro Life Council czar Brian Johnston: The organization will endorse Carly Fiorina Tuesday over Orange County Assemblyman Chuck DeVore.

This is a big deal in conservative circles, as this is California’s largest single-issue pro-life group.

And the reason has to do with one thing: They think Fiorina has a better shot at winning. In the June primary and in the fall.

As board member Mike Spence put it in his blog post Monday without naming any candidates specifically: “Our duty is to elect pro-life candidates. The word elect is as important as the word pro-life.”

“But on the merits, Fiorina is the insider, RNC, NRSC etc. pick for this seat.”

You said it. If you like Arnold the Rino, you’ll love Carly Fiorina.

“Now Sarah has gone with the “GOP machine” in endorsing Fiorina.”

She’s certainly developing a pattern with who she supports during the primaries.

We are Reagan Republians for Sarah Palin.

The same Reagan I worked for at his headquarters when he first ran for Gov.

“Of the $3.5 million donated to Carly for California 527, $2.5 million is hers.”

All of which she stole from the employees and stock holders of Hewlett-Packard...

The Susan B. Anthony List is aligned with National Right To Life, its state affiliates and the “GOP machine” so eloquently described by Sarah Palin of all people in her book “Going Rogue.”

“A staunch advocate of every child’s right to be born, I was pro-life enough for the grassroots RTL folks to adopt Piper as their poster child, but I wasn’t politically connected enough for the state GOP machine to allow the organization to endorse me in early campaigns.”

Sarah Palin
“Going Rogue”
pages 2-3

When Sarah first got started in politcs she was a Chuck DeVore, not a Carly Fiorina.

So the guy that is running away with the race, Tom Campbell, is not the establishment candidate?

Darn. Ain’t I the sensitive uninformed idiot? Don’t have a dog in this fight really as I have been told different things about her record.

Just an ummm... initial less than astute observation on my part.

There are times that I think people should post under their real names.

This is not one of those times.

Well, he's not the DC establishment candidate. And I'm no fan of Tom Campbell.

No, just a conservative that realizes the negative connotations of using juvenile tactics to get your point across.

You have more potential and intelligence then to lower yourself to that level IMO.

“But on the merits, Fiorina is the insider, RNC, NRSC etc. pick for this seat.”

The guy that Palin is trying to keep from winning, that is winning, and has been winning all along, is Tom Campbell.

How does Tom Campbell figure into to all this insider stuff?

Why not?  If you're not saying something stupid, then you don't have anything to worry about.

“Our duty is to elect pro-life candidates. The word elect is as important as the word pro-life.”

I call BS on that statement.

Getting elected trumps the lives of innocent babies.

Carley will revert to form just as all elitist RINO's do if they get elected

That person’s post wasn’t even an attack on Palin, just an observation. I would support Palin for the nomination, no problem. But some of you FReepers are starting to act like the Bush worshipers on FR who thought the man walked on water and wanted to zot everyone who disagreed with him.
