An antigay psychologist's recent trip to Europe with a gay male escort from Miami has captivated readers and viewers around the world. Salacious stories have been published from South Florida to New Zealand, and it has been the butt of jokes by Jay Leno, Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart.
And on Friday, the young escort at the center of the scandal spoke with CNN correspondent Randi Kaye for Anderson Cooper's prime-time show.
Jo-vanni Roman a k a Lucien -- told Kaye that psychologist George A. Rekers, an officer of the conservative National Association for Research & Therapy of Homosexuality (NARTH) and a retired University of South Carolina professor, paid him $75 a day plus expenses to travel with him for two weeks in April to London and Madrid.
Included for the money: Roman, 20, would give nude ``sexual'' massages to Rekers, 61, every day during their trip, the younger man told Kaye.
Gay activists and bloggers have pounced on the story: Rekers, a well-known antigay activist, recently was paid more than $120,000 by Florida to testify in defense of the state's gay-adoption ban
Well then that’s simple, if a man doesn’t want to be outed as a closet homosexual then don’t f*ck men. It’s not that difficult. Or you come out as a homosexual. Not that difficult.

"Contrary to false gossip, innuendo, and slander about me, I do not in any way 'hate' homosexuals, but I seek to lovingly share two types of messages to them, as I did with the young man called 'Lucien' in the news story: [1] It is possible to cease homosexual practices to avoid the unacceptable health risks associated with that behavior, and [2] the most important decision one can make is to establish a relationship with God for all eternity by trusting in Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross for the forgiveness of your sins, including homosexual sins. If you talk with my travel assistant that the story called 'Lucien,' you will find I spent a great deal of time sharing scientific information on the desirability of abandoning homosexual intercourse, and I shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with him in great detail."

In fact, that was the original excuse that he gave to the media, when photographs of him and the gay prostitute appeared in newspapers. He claimed his association with gays was no different from Jesus ministering to prostitutes.
Well, Rekers’ “ministering” to the gay prostitute involved going on a 2 week vacation with the gay hooker, and enjoying sex and erotic massages. NARTH needs to fire him, and quick.
The dumbasses need to "speak out against big government" and work toward downsizing it. Militant gays need "big government" to advance their agenda. DUH!!!!!
Small government is the key to neutralizing / making impotent the agendas of ALL special interest groups. And that includes the religious tyrants spoken about by C.S.Lewis, who also want the reins of big government so as to impose their personal conscience on the rest of us. But we are facing an economic downturn, thanks to Obama’s failed economic policies. Obama’s economy has made life hard for every one, even for prostitutes. Many young people who cannot get legitimate jobs in Obama’s economy are joining the prostitution industry, which is facing a glut of surplus workers. Dr. Rekers wanted to take advantage of the extra-special low rates for sexual services and massages.
It is very hard in this slow economy, for a 20 year old American young man to make $75 a day, working the typical minimum wage jobs. Not to count the extra competition from illegal immigrants, who are depressing wages.
What makes you think this story is true??? Satan is busy at work either way here...
Notice how the media, though, repeatedly fails to report the success stories of former homosexuals that have changed and are now happily married heterosexuals with children.
Most of the so-called “ex-homosexuals” who I see on television are still queerer than a three dollar bill and are one men’s room away from a relapse.
CNN has been running this story non-stop for days. I suspect Anderson Cooper ordered it.
But of course they would even deny such a thing exists.
Homosexuality used to be identified as a psychological disorder. It was later removed, but not in response to a series of studies or the like.
That should only apply if the person is a filthy hypocrite as was Ted Haggard and this one if the story is true. If the story isn't true the accusers should be sued into oblivion.
