A video taken this week by KRON-TV in California shows a Mexican demonstrator swatting the American flag out of the hand of an American counter-demonstrator during the march by Mexican Live Oak High School students and others upset that American students wore American glags to the California school on Cinco de Mayo.
The video, posted at KRON on May 6, 2010 by Brian Shields, shows a pick-up truck with at least three young men waving small American flags mounted on sticks from the windows as they ride alongside the Mexican march on the sidewalk. The pick-up truck is shown stopped with a female demonstrator engaging the occupants in an argument when a male demonstrator walks up to the truck and angrily swats an American flag from one of the passengers.
The truck pulls away, then stops and the occupants get out to retrieve the flag. Police are suddenly seen trying to do something. It does not appear that they arrested the male who swatted the flag out of the hand of the American.
A woman demonstrator gets between the two sides and shoos the Americans away as they go back to the truck after retrieving their flag.
A reporter tries to interview them about the incident, but Mexican demonstrators walk up to the truck and the scene devolves into profanity-laced verbal pot-shots.
The rest of the video shows scenes from the concluding rally where the Mexican demonstrators demand 'respect' and chant 'si se puede.'
Several of the demonstrators tried to cloak themselves in being Mexican-American, yet the only flag they carried wass the Mexican flag. We see how they treated the American flag.

“Americans do NOT need to fight back as these young RETARDS did.”
What?
It needs to go viral on to many other sites so people can stream and see for themselves.
Waaay too many nachos and too much hot cheese dip, if you ask me. Post 60.
Correction, Post 61.
PS I would imagine there was no shortage of "Anchor Babies", grown or growing up, in that crowd that day.
But, Fox Nation picked up the story this evening and their embed of the KRON video works fine.
“Shoot me, if you must, this old gray head,
But spare my country’s flag,” she said.
A shade of sadness, a blush of shame,
Over the face of the leader came;
The nobler nature within him stirred
To life at that woman’s deed and word;
“Who touches a hair of yon gray head
Dies like a dog! March on!” he said.
LOL - good one!
Ken Norton once said something like ‘If you lose a fight in your mind, you will very soon lose it for real’. We’ve (not all of us, but enough of us) have lost this in our minds. We’ve been instructed over and over that we are weak, evil, etc... This has been done with subtle stereotypes in the popular culture. This is my opinion. Make a list of commercials and television shows. If there is a conflict, disagreement, or difference of opinion between folks of different cultures or sexes, write down what you see as the portrayal of those involved. If there is a lesson learned, who was the one who needed to be taught something?
I recently saw an article about “winners and losers” in the education/career area. The article was accompanied by two pictures. One showed three college age girls, smiling broadly. The other one was a grey-suited man sitting on some steps, briefcase at his side, head buried in his hands.
To me, he was cast at the loser. I guess one could argue about the message, about what was being characterized there. I know how I took this. I’m just asking you to pay close attention to the messages that are being delivered. What are the motives? More importantly, what would the effect be — of seeing these portrayals thousands of times? Who is the:
1. Coward
2. Wimp
3. Scumbag
4. Turn coat
This (obviously) isn’t a complete explanation, but it doesn’t have to be. It only needs to be a player in the problem. We pick up cues on how we are “supposed” to behave by these portrayals, and cues on how the world is supposed to be. What is the message in the character of Homer Simpson? Who does he represent?
What has caused us to lose our nerve, to refuse to stand our ground?
I’ll check it again tomorrow morning. It would be really foolish of them to pull the video.
I just watched it...no problems. Could’ve been too many hits earlier...

This is the reason that citizenship requires that you are born with allegiance to the U.S. These ‘anchor babies,mexicans’ have no allegiance to our flag or nation. They are NOT U.S. citizens and need to be deported with their parents.
I will also check it at something like 3 a.m. in the Central Time zone, which is a no brainer for me 1/2 a world away. Tons of people will not be up at that hour just to watch that video!
