Japan and the United States reaffirmed Thursday that, together with South Korea, they will respond in a united manner to North Korea based on the findings of the probe being conducted into the unexplained sinking of a South Korean warship, Japanese officials said.
The decision was made in a meeting between Akitaka Saiki, director general of the Foreign Ministry's Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau, and U.S. special envoy to North Korea Stephen Bosworth.
They met at a time when suspicion is growing that the March 26 sinking in the Yellow Sea, which killed 46 crew members, might have been the result of a North Korean torpedo attack. South Korea will announce the results of its investigation into the case later this month.

Isn’t this what you would call and act of war? Sinking another nations capital ship, I don’t think that goes to arbitration.
So, which country will get to choose the font size, which to choose the font, and which will lick the envelope.
Obama will have Hillary write a letter all in capitol letters, to the NK telling them not to do that again..
“backing up” used to mean that. Then SoKo would torpedo a Nork ship to even things up.
Now it means a STERNLY WORDED LETTER!
Hillary will unleash her smart power on the Norks!
Russia and China just inked a deal supporting NK.
LOL, stern letter with red border to follow.
Dear Kim,
We find it regrettable that your military has taken such an incredibly aggressive posture of late. The sinking of the destroyer Cheonin and moving 50,000 more troops to the border area. If this had been done by accident we are sure your government would have said as much by now.
We can only conclude that this was done on purpose. This could be construed as an act of war, as we am sure you know. We do not wish to be at war with your nation and have many times generously provided food aid and other needed items to you in the past.
All we are saying, is a sign of an apology can go a long way. Executing a naval general would satisfy the outrage in our countries. This would allow us to continue food aid and to help you with your peaceful nuclear power program.
So, Mr. Kim, let us all be friends again.
Sing Kumbaya with us one more time.
Signed,
BFF's USA, Japan, S. Korea
“Then, then, they’re now on double secret probation”
My goodness...what do you take our Community Organizer In Chief for? Some kind of warmonger?? "Incredibly aggressive"? Try...."we apologize for Bush's war crimes against the peace loving leaders of the People's Really Swell Democratic Republic....."
lol.
That would probably be closer to the truth. lol.
wow.
High production values and kudos on the casting.
Fighting for these people in North Korea should be swell.
Please oh Please don’t bring China into this and try and pay us,I’d also like ammo and like leadership with a clue.
Yup. Obama’s soft diplomacy is tested by the Chicoms. They win. Obama loses.
The russians, Iranians, Syrians, Lebanese, Israel and Karzai of Afghanistan have walked ALL over Obama.I MEAN WALKED, used OBAMA as a door mat.
Obama is a light weight who cannot properly represent the United States. He is an international laughing stock and an idiot.
Where did you hear that bit of news?
Sorry it was Iran, China and NK.

Although Russia helps Iran and most likely is willing to help NK.
