I like this idea. Helping terrorists certainly fits in with the constitutional definition of treason: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.

Obama is protected since he is not a US citizen.

Mmm, mmm, mmm, Barack the Undocumented Hussein Obama,
Has less documentation than any random South American llama.

“D.C. Tech Official Is Accused of Bribery(Birth Certificate Forgery)
A D.C. government official and a business executive were arrested yesterday on bribery
charges involving city technology contracts that included "ghost" workers and
kickbacks, federal authorities said. Until recently, the technology office was headed
by Vivek Kundra, who has taken a job as President Obama's chief information officer.
A White House official confirmed last night that Kundra has taken a leave of absence.
“Yusuf Acar, 40, who has worked in the technology office since 2004, was charged with
bribery, conspiracy, money laundering and conflict of interest.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Thomas Hibarger told a federal judge that Acar is a flight risk because agents
seized $70,000 in cash in his house and because in recorded conversations, he boasted that he could easily flee to his native Turkey.
Acar also told the informant that he could use
computers to create fake D.C. birth certificates
, Hibarger said. “

“Article in Nairobi Paper June 2004 - Barack born in Africa
An ongoing poll by AOL News currently shows that 58% of Americans have doubts
about Obama’s citizenship. The poll was started on July 28 and continues — you can go
here to vote. And lest you think that this survey is being conducted in a very anti-Obama
venue, the title of the article is Birthers, Beer and Stuck on ‘Stupidly’ — it is an
environment contemptuous of skeptics. So we can conclude that the results of their poll
are not what they were hoping for.

A scant five years ago, Barack Obama was a little known Illinois state politician, aspiring
to move up to the United States Senate. Undoubtedly, the Marxist handlers behind this
Manchurian candidate had long range plans to capture the US presidency since he was
groomed as a youth by Frank Marshall Davis. But the general public and the press were
not privy to this information.

At that time, there would have been no reason to fabricate a story about Obama’s birth
that would disqualify him for the highest US office. This would be especially true for an
African paper that was simply proud of their native son. So it is reasonable to take the
press clippings of the day at face value. The following item has been on the web all
along, but apparently did not get much attention. It is a June 2004 article from the online
version of the East African Standard, an English-language paper published in Nairobi,
Kenya, titled Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate.“

Sunday Standard | June 27, 2004 AP
Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack
Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan,
dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club
allegations.”

Please explain what it gets me in the long run. I assume as an American anyone who commits a terrorist act against the USA can be tried for treason and executed.
Taking away his citizenship is supposed to be more punishment?

I would have been much more impressed if these two came out in support of what Arizona is trying to do.

Is there a bit of hypocrisy throughout this article, or am I being cynical? Anyone who did not agree with the Woodrow Wilson administration, during the so-called Red Scare, was stripped of their Citizenship and deported. Could people within the "Tea Party" be targeted for dissenting against this administration and stripped of their Citizenship?

In addition, much of the The Sedition Act is still law today. More than anything, this administration can "NOT" be trusted.

Proposed legislation that would allow the government to revoke American citizenship from people suspected of allying themselves with terrorists set off a legal and political debate

That would take away half of the Democrat votes.

What ever happened to the charge of treason.

Jane Fonda should have been tried for treason. John Kerry should have faced the same charge. Danny Glover should face this charge.

Are they guilty? I believe they are, but in any case they should face the charges.

This law will be just another that will be ignored, like the treason law.

One law should suffice and it should be enforced.

The cornerstone of this is unconstitutional and un-American. The basic idea is to strip a person of their rights before they have been found guilty.

It gets at the core of the whole concept of Citizenship and allows the state to ignore the Constitution in whole cloth by simply charging a person with such an act, stripping them of their rights and there you have it.. the GESTAPO. Freedom is gone for all in an instant.

This gives our government the ability to terrorize every single one of us.. so it isn't worth saving the lives of even half of us to permit that. The people supporting such a bill should be removed from office at the very next election.

This is exactly what they need to do with anchor babies also.

The constitution says they are American citizen if they are born here... and they would still be... until that citizenship is stripped from them, and they are deported along with their illegal alien parents.

The idea of taking away citizenship from someone before a conviction is a troubling one to me and could very well be abused by a corrupt administration. I don’t think that its unreasonable to think that Obama could use this on people they want out of the picture. It also smacks of being blatantly unconstitutional.

(Yeah....yeah.... I know....)
