The gunman leant forward and pushed the pistol hard into Manie Potgieter’s neck. “Listen, you white bastard,” he whispered, his breath heavy with alcohol. “I have Aids. We are now going to rape your wife and give her Aids too. Then, we kill you, got it?”

From his position on the floor, hands tied behind his back, he could hear his assailant’s three accomplices pulling the tracksuit bottoms off his wife, Helena, 28.

“I was sure they were going to shoot me, but I just prayed she would be OK. She was telling me in Afrikaans not to worry. I just prayed,” Mr Potgieter, 30, a blond giant of a man, told The Times.

Suddenly, a clang of metal echoed through the early morning air — and the attackers took fright. They had been in the remote farmhouse for an hour and dawn was fast approaching. “Let’s go, someone is coming,” one of them shouted in panic. Without firing a shot they were suddenly gone.

The subject of attacks on white farmers is deeply disliked by the ruling African National Congress for the unflattering comparisons that it brings with neighbouring Zimbabwe, but it has come to the fore ...

Glad to hear it. These are class people - they do not deserve what’s in store for them. And it is possible that, like the Soviet Union, the exit doors will slam shut for them at some point. So (for them), get out now, while you can, in an orderly and dignified manner - and admit you (or the prior generation) made a mistake in turning over power...but the only way to find out for certain that it was a mistake was to do it - so no blame from me.

There are several histories of South Africa out there, George, and all concur, the Dutch Boers and later the English were in the Cape, the Natal, the Orange Free State and up into the Transvaal and the Poruguese were in Lorenco Marques a century prior to the first Bantu migrations from the north. They established farms, towns and cities in the middle of nowhere only to be invaded later.

The invasion of immigrants from Mexico on our southern border takes on new meaning when you consider the history of South Africa.

I was also discussing this on another conservative forum and one of my fellow responders made a point where the average IQ of a Black South African is 70 and for a White there, 100 or so. I think we need to be open enough to any and all factors in IQ, including race, but in my opinion, I think culture, mentality and a good thought process as well as a stable family and upbringing are much bigger factors. He said that it takes at least an average of a 90 IQ in the population to maintain an industrial society so the 70 average IQ will not cut it. I might bring n some controversy here but I'd just wanted to toss this out for discussion.

At some point, it would be time for decent people here to thumb their noses at their own country’s PC immigration policies and SMUGGLE them in via underground railroad. Corrie Ten Boom and her family did the right thing. So should we.

Right, if they traded places with the Amish in Lancaster county Pa. within two years the Amish would be thriving in Africa and the Africans would be starving in Pennsylvania. The problem is cultural.

There was a post on Liberty Post some time ago that I remember. It basically said, "The white man is capable of great ruthlessness. At some point he is going to decide he wishes to survive. At that point, it's going to be a stark reminder why the world shook out like it did"

I don't remember who said it, but it stuck with me. It was a few years back and things have degraded exponentially since that time.

How true. How true. I have a Thai MIL. Not only do the Asians dislike blacks and caucasians, they vehemently dislike each other also.

I have gotten some real educations about the "dirty Laos", the undesirable Cambodians, etc.

If I were a white farmer in South Africa, I wouldn’t go to the bathroom unarmed. And I would make sure every single one of my children old enough to learn gun safety was armed, too.

The problem is, then you have to face black police and a black-controlled court system.

I had a family from South Africa rent a home I owned several years ago. They escaped from their home country.

Their stories of rape, murder, robbery, and torture were almost too horrible to believe, until I heard their children describe similar events.

There is no worldwide or UN "outrage" over these crimes, and I know the reason. The victims are white.
