Article raises a good point- how is this incident different from the last highjacking of a Russian vessel; those pirates were delivered to Moscow for trial. So why the supposed release..?

Catch and release is cheaper than feeding these parasites in prison, particularly if the "inflatable" is cheap . . . and leaking.

I think there is almost NO chance they were released. They were executed and tossed overboard.

Death is freedom. LOL!!

Freed?
From their Mortal Coil?
From their daily existence?
From their Human experience?

I really don’t get all the flap over this!!
If you are so reckless as to attempt piracy on the high seas, you have basically forfeited all right to proper treatment from authorities, and especially from the authorities of the country whose shipping/merchantmen you have just assaulted!

I hope Moscow told the Russian sailors to put bullets in the pirates heads, and “free” them by dumping their bodies over the side. That way they save transportation costs, and the bother of guarding them.

Knowing the Russians, my bet is that they're feeding the fishies as we speak.

Just because they were “released” doesn’t mean that they were alive when it happened.

cheaper than feeding these parasites in prison Read Gulag Archipelago. Russia doesn't spend a lot on feeding prisoners.

I’ve read it. Still, it’s cheaper to feed sharks one meal than to feed people for years.
