Or- they are just liar-pig democRATs
Because it affected mostly white people?
Nashvillians are busy helping each other in countless ways, and there is little or no looting. Also, they aren’t yelling about what’s taking the government so long, etc., etc. Not much news here.
Because Obama doesn’t like White People?
Bust the levees and let it start flooding the black neighbourhoods, and see how soon the flooding makes the nightly news!
It wasn’t covered because there was no Geo. Bush to blame it on!!!
Yeah, I lived in Cedar Rapids two years back when they flooded, badly, historically badly, thousands lost everything. Almost no coverage in the national media... again, all nice boring quiet white people, no looting or rioting...
I’ll bet the Obama regime is already preparing Barry’s talking points to spin this flood as good news with the main point being that the drought is over!
Because Bush isn’t in office any more?
(and I guess that still makes it Bush’s fault...)
Okay, just how in the world does covering the floods in Nashville help promote Obamamama’s agenda of open borders, high taxes and free condoms for all? What would be the point of “covering” the devastation to ordinary folks in flyover country?
Because communities of looters and bandits deserve our help, and communities of the law-abiding don’t. Because anything that doesn’t show both the moral bankruptcy and impending collapse of America isn’t news.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WBOC/AP)- President Barack Obama has issued a major disaster declaration to help Maryland recover expenses from February's severe snowstorms.
The declaration on Thursday combines two separate snowstorms to trigger the release of federal money to help the state recoup money.
The declaration does not say how much money the state will receive, but it begins a process to determine reimbursable expenses.
A letter sent last month by Maryland's congressional delegation noted that the state spent more than $38 million responding to the two storms.
Rep. Steny Hoyer says the federal assistance is needed to help Maryland recover from what was an unprecedented series of winter storms that required an extraordinary response from the state.
I am surprised that they haven’t trotted out their dead horse of “climate change”, maybe they realize that that doesn’t work anymore, so these climate events aren’t worth noticing, especially when they can’t advance their narrative.
The flood wasn’t covered because it couldn’t be spun to the Democrats’ political advantage. If there was some kind of liberal stake in it, it would have been covered.
gee...I wonder why.....
Because blacks weren’t standing on their rooftops and the pundits weren’t there screaming where’s the government help!!!
Of course that all happened before the ‘age of Obama.’
John Rich has written a song dedicated to them and is encouraging donations to Red Cross. You can download it on his website www.johnrich.com. I would like to donate to a responsible group but not Red Cross. Anyone have any suggestions?

I liked the YouTube presentation at the link in the first paragraph.
First collection of pictures I have seen on the flood.
Because mostly white neighborhoods were flooded.
Telethon thread, and lots more links to other areas hit by the 52 county flooding and 13 small twisters...NO COVERAGE of MS or AR has been done either, and they were hit just as hard with both flash flood and twisters.
