Here's Palin on Fiorina:
"Please consider that Carly is the conservative who has the potential to beat California's liberal senator, Barbara Boxer, in November. I'm a huge proponent of contested primaries, so I'm glad to see the contest in California's GOP, but I support Carly as she fights through a tough primary against a liberal member of the GOP who seems to bear almost no difference to Boxer, one of the most leftwing members of the Senate. Carly needs our support in this crucial election year when we have a real chance of putting an end to the Pelosi/Reid Big Government" agenda.
Carly's reaction:
"I am honored and grateful to have Sarah Palin's support. She, too, is a political outsider and a strong fiscal conservative, and we share a common concern for the direction our country is headed in under Barbara Boxer and her allies in Washington," Fiorina said.

However, we are hoping to increase the ranks of conservatives in the Congress. RINOs have disappointed us on many, many issues, immigration being one that is important to California.
Now take those two statements; consider that you're trying to get a candidate to replace Boxer. Would you vote for Snowe over Obama? How about Fiorina over Boxer? To get a Conservative Senate you need to first start replacing liberals. It takes time to move, and that's what the Left knows and what too many Conservatives forget.
We had the Senate in the 90s, and incrementally the Democrats took it back by electing moderate Democrat Senators. You don't NEED to have all solid Conservatives; what you need is enough to allow the GOP to win the majority. Then you have control over the committees and THAT is where the power resides.
Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins and - if she's elected, Carly Fiorina - would be important people to gaining control of the Senate, and thus the chairmanships and thus the policies and direction of Government.
If you control the chairs, you may not be able to pass all the legislation you want, but you can darn sure make certain the stuff you don't want never comes up!
After Schwarzenegger I vowed to never settle for half a loaf again. Half becomes very little and that doesn't get it done.
It has nothing to do with loyalty. It has to do with supporting the strongest candidate.
That’s strike 2.
One more strike and I’ll have to agree with Saturday Night Live’s opinion of this lady.
Some here said McClintock couldn't be elected cause he 'lacked charisma' and was cross-eyed.
So we followed the RINO's advise and instead of the most fiscally conservative major political figure in the state we ended up with someone worse than the disgraced Gray Davis's second term and EVERY BIT as bad as Cruz Bustamonte would've been.
Not gonna fall for that EVER again.
That is what I thought.
Sarah Plain’s score so far:
Two strikes, no hits and one more strike and she is out.
Campaigning for that RINO McCain was bad enough.
Send her back to Alaska.

I could be all in and she’d barely know it... [rimshot!]
She’s no Martha Coakley.
....hahahahaha, no...but actually Babs BoxofRocks is WORSE than Martha and is an awful speaker and campaigner even with all the leftest CA press on her side... DeVore will have an actual record to run on while incompetant Carli has nothing but empty promises... see Arnie to learn what you’ll get in DC. I love Sarah, but BAD choice and this is the Nov to make a difference in a state that would elected McClintock except for the girly boys of the CA Gop...
ymmv
No, it depends on who they are. I can endorse 50 low-level state candidates that have no real meaning. What is interesting is that the most high-profile endorsements are the RINOs. And you should be troubled. But, of course, you aren’t. This is the same mentality that gave us Arnold, and while I’m certainly not comparing her to Arnold, the blindness on the part of conservatives is often the same.
Another person also here in California who gets it.
There are good reasons Sarah endorsed Carley, it is the
big picture.
DeVore and his supporters aren't saying why he's better, they're saying why his fellow candidates are bad.
They're creating a theme for Boxer to continue and exploit after the primaries. And you can bet your last dollar that will be the modus operandi of the Democrats.
What was Reagan's 11th commandment?
"Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican."
Don't tell me why Fiorina is bad, tell me why DeVore is good. The former eats away at the conservative movement in general, the latter builds it up.
True. My desire for truly conservative candidates must be balanced with reality. Voting for candidates with no hope of winning, just because they are conservative, splits the vote and hands elections over to the DemocRATS.
Rome wasn’t built in a day and electing conservative majorities in the US House and Senate will take longer than one election cycle. Keep your eyes on the prize and conservatives WILL take back Congress.
Palin thinks when illegal aliens and naturalized/Citizen hispanics have a majority in any state, county or city that they would vote for her lily white fannie. Shows how damn stupid she really is
You weak-kneed excuses for conservatives really do defy logic.
What does it matter when Fiorini votes “yes” on amnesty. At least Boxer is up front about what she believes and sticks to it
Amen! Maybe SNL was right after all. A dim bulb
Reagan spoke ill of other Republicans very often. That quote is out of context, and not very smart in the way you mean it. Republicans, good ones, speak ill of McCain, Bush, Snowe, Graham, and others very often when they do things that make them into liberal Democrats.
As one blogster put it:
"Fiorina is a loser. Of course shes better than Boxer, but that would be true of a turd. It is unbelievable that the CA GOP cannot find a better candidate in a year where a Senate seat is ripe for the taking!"
and another:
"Carlys a conservative? Really? When did that happen?"
and another:
"Carly Fiorina - John McCain in a skirt."
to which I would have substituted Mitt Romnuts in place of McLame.
But the reason I think she is a RINO is because she is tone deaf to conservatives and supported maintaining and expanding the H1B program as well as being heavily involved in outsourcing. Her tenure as CEO of two companies was a disaster and there is an overwhelming consensus that HP improved greatly after she departed because she was gone. Her qualifications seem to have been that she was a woman at a time when being a strong woman and breaking the glass ceiling seemed more important than improving quality, american jobs and market share.
Here is a puff piece on her:
http://www.ocregister.com/articles/california-217606-carly-fiorina.html
In this article I can read between the lines and see she is interested in herself more than serving people in California. For example:
Admittedly, I have not always been engaged in the electoral process, and I should have been. For many years I felt disconnected from the decisions made in Washington and, to be honest, really didn't think my vote mattered because I didn't have a direct line of sight from my vote to a result.
I realize that thinking was wrong. As I grew throughout my career, beginning as a secretary and eventually becoming a CEO, I saw how government impacted business. I learned more as a member of advisory boards at the State Department, the Pentagon and the CIA. I now understand, in a very real way, that the decisions made by the Senate impact every family and every business, of any size, in America.
"I now understand...." she says, meaning she's on a learning curve. How about running for State Senate Carly? Maybe you could gain some experience before breaking into national politics with nothing more than having been an unpopular and failed CEO with no development of political principles. In other words Carly you are an opportunist for yourself first, got a taste of that big ole influence did you? And now you want to eat it everyday.
This is what motivates me to run for the U.S. Senate. And so today I am announcing my candidacy to serve the people of California as your next U.S. senator.
Gee Carly, saw how the Senate 'impacts' business which you ran poorly yourself and now after being shown the door you'd like to get in on the turdfest that is Barbara Boxbutt?
Throughout my career I've brought people together, and I've solved problems. And that is what is needed in our government today. People who are willing to set aside ego and partisanship and instead work to develop solutions to our problems.
Oh gee just what we need in the Senate, bring people together and sing Kumbayah!
Our most pressing problems today are too few jobs for Americans and too much spending in Washington. As California's senator, economic recovery and fiscal accountability will be my priorities. I will not settle for a jobless recovery. And we can start the important work of getting our financial house back in order by demanding to know where our money is being spent. Let's put every government budget and every government bill on the Internet for every citizen to see.
Yeah sure Carly, after you performed your greatest hits with outsourcing American IT jobs to India and China, supporting the expansion of the H1B program.
And the only reason she seems to advocate why people should vote for her is that she is better than Boxer. That's a poor reason to run for office.
We don't need this in politics. She has no conservative principles other that "Gee I saw it and I liked it! I want some of that yum yum!"
She will be another wishy-washy Republican that raises her finger to see which way the wind seems to be blowing before she votes, IOW RINO SPAWN!!!!!!!!!!
