The question has to be asked, now that a second YouTube video has surfaced in which Michelle Obama refers to her husband as a Kenyan.
In a rather whiny harangue during a fundraiser in Tampa in December 2007, in which she discussed how hard it was for her and her husband to pay off student loans from "good schools," Michelle Obama said the following:
"What it reminded me of was our trip to Africa, two years ago, and the level of excitement that we felt in that country - the hope that people saw just in the sheer presence of somebody like Barack Obama - a Kenyan, a black man, a man of great statesmanship who they believe could change the fate of the world."
See it here:
This video joins a previously noted video in which she refers to her husband's "home country in Kenya."
Whatever the facts of his birthplace, it is clear that Michelle Obama thinks of her husband as a Kenyan.

I can't watch YouTube videos, or any video using the latest Adobe Flash Player, until I have a computer with a newer operating system. My ten year old Dell uses IE6.
I thought the text accompanying this blog was noteworthy.

I think she is rubbing our noses in the fact that they have no use for our Constitution!
His wife didn’t refer to him as an “Irishman” for crying out loud. He was an American.
holy crap
this is the 2nd time I have heard her now say her husband is a kenyan or Baracks homeland Kenya
SHOW THE B/C , why fight it and hey media ever thought of actually dong your job and asking questions//
nah didn’t think so you’re just there to protect your messiah and feed B/S
she has said a couple of times now that her husband is kenyan and then says Africa is a country
Today there is a report out that Linda Lingle, Gov of Hawaii has now come out and said Obama was definitely born at Kapoliani Hospital....interesting timing with all these high profile leaks in the boat starting to show up.
At the bare minimum, the media needs to aks the WH what Michelle means by this.
(Related from thread earlier this AM:)
The governor of Hawaii is now publicly voicing the alleged exact location of Obama’s birth, saying “the president was, in fact, born at Kapi’olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii.”
The disclosure is believed to be the first time a state government official has declared the precise place where Obama was born, despite numerous other published claims, including some for a different hospital in Honolulu — Queens Medical Center.
The remark came Sunday night when Gov. Linda Lingle, a Republican, was interviewed on New York’s WABC Radio by host Rabbi Shmuley Boteach. (The subject was addressed at the 77-minute mark.)
“It’s been an odd situation,” Lingle said, referring to the continuing controversy over the disputed natural-born citizenship of Obama. “This issue kept coming up so much in the campaign, and again I think it’s one of those issues that is simply a distraction from the more critical issues that are facing the country.
“So I had my health director, who is a physician by background, go personally view the birth certificate in the birth records of the Department of Health, and we issued a news release at that time saying that the president was, in fact, born at Kapi’olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. And that’s just a fact and yet people continue to call up and e-mail and want to make it an issue and I think it’s again a horrible distraction for the country by those people who continue this.”
Lingle’s statement, above, is a lie. Fukino’s statement never identified Kapiolani as Obama’s birthplace — never, never, never!
Fukino said, “[I have]...personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obamas original birth certificate on record...,” so there is a document. Hawaii released an Adobe document containing an alphabetical list of births, produced from the Hawaii Birth Index database, containing the names of those issued Certificates of Hawaiian Birth from 1911 to 1971, for those who did not get a standard Birth certificate, at birth.” The name Obama does not exist.
Beyond the lie, if Lingle disclosed Obama’s birth hospital without his permission, she has committed a misdemeanor. If Obama gave permission for this public disclosure, then Hawaii no longer has a basis for maintaining the privacy of Obama’s birth records.
Although the governor now claims she issued a news release stating Kapi’olani is Obama’s birthplace, the actual release said no such thing, making no reference to Kapi’olani nor any other specific location of Obama’s birth.
But Lingle’s radio statement could add further confirmation that a long-form, hospital-generated “Certificate of Live Birth” still exists.
Ironically, the governor’s pinpointing of the Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children as well as her health director’s previous public statements on the matter statement are in apparent violation of Hawaii state law.
In two separate telephone interviews, Janice Okubo, the Health Department’s public information officer, said that Hawaii law prohibited her from commenting on the birth records of any specific person.
Okubo cited Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 338-18, which pertains to “Disclosure of Records.”
That section states regarding the release of vital statistics records, “The department shall not permit inspection of public health statistics records, or issue a certified copy of any such record or part thereof, unless it is satisfied that the applicant has a direct and tangible interest in the record.”
Politifact actually has Okubo on the record denying that the electronic COLB image provided by the Obama campaign can be authenticated by her or by anyone at DHOH!
Hawaii has previously released Obama’s birth date, and birth certificate number, which out of sequence with the Nordyke twins, born the day after Obama.
Remember, the COLB has only a “Filed” state and not an “Accepted” state. Until it’s accepted by the registrar it’s nothing.
Hawaii also confirmed Obamas “vital records” have been amended.
So, little by little, Hawaii violates their own rules by releasing selected bits of information, while refusing to release the original, hospital-produced birth certificate.
Jill T. Nagamine, Deputy Attorney General for the State of Hawaii, has made it clear that her office will not corroborate or back in any way the July 27, 2009 Statement of Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Hawaii Department of Health, which declared Obama Hawaiian-born and a “natural-born American citizen.”
However, this changes nothing. As long as Barack Hussein Obama Sr. is the father of Barack Hussein Obama II, Obama remains ineligible to serve as POTUS and CiC, and sits in the Oval Office as an usurper.

EXACTLY
The media should be asking why MO said her husband was a Kenyan and why did she says Barack homeland Kenya
I am so disgusted with the MSM, they have covered for their messiah since he came on the scene back at the Dem convention.
Every day I tell different people about things like this and they had no idea.
It’s high time we got talk radio and conservative sites to mail into the MSM and keep asking and demand they tell the truth
If just 10,000 mailed ion to CNN and asked why are you not asking MO about this they would have to in the end
Obama’s family on his father's side were tribal big shots. Obama’s family on his mother's side were Liberal elite.
By being born in Kenya and making false announcements in the papers, his family was protecting Obama’s privilege on both sides of the coin.
And remember, when the chips were down in Kenya, Obama traveled there and incited people to protect his privilege.
correct
I have family over in Europe
Now if I have a kid I will put those announcements in the paper of where my family lives and comes from.
Bill O.R saying case closed because his birth was announced in the paper is such utter crap and maybe OR should be asking why did MO say this
With her penchant for this foot in mouth stuff—I am now starting to believe that Michelle really DID make that inflammatory statement to so-called API and Chief Editor Korir about demanding they support O and the “African View”.
API covered themselves —after first coming out with it—with layered gobbledygook—they were obviously warned off.
Someone needs to put up a bet on Intrade: “Will the truth about Obamas birth be made public before the 2012 election?”
I’d give it about 90/10 odds against.
Is Michelle Obama a Birther?

[Thanks, ASA Vet.]
My mother has pointed out that there were birth announcements in newspapers in cities other than the one where I was born because we had relatives in those cities and wanted them to see the announcement. This was in 1965.
I am just saying - a birth announcement in a local paper doesn’t mean a birth in that city.
a birth announcement in a local paper doesnt necessarily mean a birth in that city.
That also means that Obama's grandmother wasn't necessarily trying commit a fraud. She may have just been excited to have a grandson and wanted to announce it in her community.
Now, if she claimed in her birth announcement that he was born somewhere that he wasn't, that is a different story.
The Obamah’s in their own words have personally stated Barry is a Kenyan and a muslim. ..there own words.
No, however, I believe 0baga won't run for reelection precisely because of your question.
Some SoSs will demand proof for eligibility and if the GOP grows some stones by '12, they could run a naturalized American against him. Should this candidate be refused a place on the ballots, as he/she isn't a NBC, he/she will have standing to sue for ALL candidates to prove eligibility.
I'm not a lawyer, but that candidate should claim "injury" because he/she would demand equality under the law.
If this idea goes viral, 0kaka will never take the humiliation of being declared ineligible and the legal implications of the greatest fraud in history.
