If anyone was unclear about President Obama's distaste for the new Arizona immigration law, he cleared it up at his Cinco de Mayo celebration in the White House Rose Garden Wednesday night.
"We can’t start singling out people because of who they look like, or how they talk, or how they dress," the president said. "We can’t turn law-abiding American citizens, and law-abiding immigrants, into subjects of suspicion and abuse."
The law, which targets illegal immigrants in a way critics say is too broad, has repeatedly come under attack and been described by some as racial profiling.
In a visible protest to the Arizona law, the Phoenix Suns was wearing jerseys reading "Los Suns" for Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals against the San Antonio Spurs. The president was clearly a supporter of the move, referencing the name change to celebration attendees, "I know that a lot of you would rather be watching tonight’s game -- the Spurs against “Los Suns” from Phoenix." The comment drew applause.
The president also repeated his view that illegal immigration is best dealt with on a federal level, through a legal overhaul, and he said that work should begin this year. "[I]t can be done. And it needs to be done... I want to begin work this year, and I want Democrats and Republicans to work with me because we’ve got to stay true to who we are-- a nation of laws and a nation of immigrants."

Obvious that he has absolutely no understanding of what the bill actually says. Obvious that he is a race-baiter, as well as a fraud and a liar when it comes to the rights and the wishes of AMERICAN CITIZENS.
The only racial profiling is of whites, this mistake of a president and his administration is a walking talking hate crime. They need to be charged, tried and jailed.

I really hate this guy. He is a two bit racist agitator....period, end of argument.
He sees “illegals” as future Dem “voters”.
Their strategy: vote often, vote graveyard, vote illegals and vote those who do not exist. This is in the long held tradition of Landslide Lyndon Johnson.
But I thought he swore to UPHOLD the law! Why doesn’t anyone in the media ask him if he thinks it OK to ignore laws already written just because he doesn’t like it?

Yes, and the law has specifics about how many may enter this country every year and a lot of other requirements.
Also, we are a nation of LEGAL immigrants. We need a list of all businesses, organizations, etc. that are boycotting
Arizona, so we can boycott them. Have our citizens realy been dumbed down so much that they don’t understand the need for immigration regulations? Or have they been filled with so much unnecessary guilt that they can’t stand up for anything?
Obama knows what the bill says. He is just trying to demonize the bill and its supporters because he intends to give amnesty to illegal aliens. And he’ll do it with the support of the open borders wing of the GOP. The treason lobby is a big tent.

Why does 0bamao, all the lefties and pundits keep touting a Federal law? If they enforced the laws that are already on the books, Arizona wouldn’t have had to come up with it’s own law.
