On 'The View' Tuesday, Elisabeth Hasselbeck criticized ESPN sportscaster Erin Andrews for dressing inappropriately on 'Dancing With The Stars.' Noting that Andrews has faced two separate stalking incidents in the past year, Hasselbeck said, "In light of what happened and as a legal [matter] -- and as inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room ... I mean, in some way if I'm him, I'm like, 'Man! I just could've waited 12 weeks and seen this -- a little bit less -- without the prison time!'"
But when Hasselbeck returned to the 'View' stage on Wednesday, she was singing a new tune. Tearfully, Hasselbeck said she regretted the remarks and opened up to her 5-year-old daughter at home -- who convinced her to call Andrews and apologize.

Hasselbeck must be German for braindead.
She is a constant embarassment for conservatives on the Spew.
People are so judgmental its maddening.
Erin Andrews has used the peeping tom incident as a career move.
I’ve always liked Elisabeth but this “crying crap” everytime she turns around has got to friggin’ stop.
you figured it out. libs love to put people that claim to be conservative that look bad to the public.
I could not beleive it when I learned on a FR thread that Hasselbeck sided with Whoopie on attacking Sarah Palin’s crosshairs graphic and “reload” rhetoric.
What do I think? I think people ought to stop watching The View. Or just not start in the first place.
Watching too much Beck maybe?
We can probably expect her to diss Palin again in order to restore her credibility/do penance in the eyes of the libs.
Does anyone really take Erin Andrews seriously as a sports reporter? You don’t see Chris Berman parading around like a floosie on espn to get viewers. Elisabeth should have made the point that when Andrews appears like she does she invites trouble. I’m not saying she “asks for it”, but she shouldn’t be surprised either when these stalkers, who are attracted to her act, crawl out of the woodwork.
Everyone here is correct. Ms. Andrews attempts to have it both ways and is using the controversy as a career move to go from sports to pop/celebutard. DWTS (which I don’t watch) is part of that.
And since I also don’t watch “The View”, I don’t know much about Ms. Hasselbeck other than to say she has the thankless task of being a lone voice of sanity amidst a bunch of libtard women and occasionally she tries too hard to see their side of it.
Lastly, Tony Kornheiser was suspended over remarks he made about Hannah Storm’s appearance during his ESPN radio show. So, how is it that Hasselbeck’s comments (on ABC which, like ESPN, is owned by Disney) don’t lead to a suspension for criticizing Andrews’ appearance? Women are allowed to be catty about other women’s dresses but men get suspended if they do the same? Both Kornheiser and Hasselbeck indirectly accused the women of dressing like sluts. And Kornheiser publicly apologized the next day. So, it’s okay for women to say it but not okay for men? That must be the political correctness standard at Disney/ABC/ESPN.
The average IQ of people who watch THE VIEW must be very low. After trying to watch it a couple of times, I gave up. I can’t take Joy Behar and Whoopie is full of hot air. Barbara Walters is a flaming liberal and is losing it and the other two have high-school mentalities which makes me wonder if they have full brain development yet...Just my opinion.
If every mother had that conversation with their 5 year old, the world would be a better place, by far.
I NEVER watch Beck; to depressing. He just puts you on a downer and never gives any solutions to the problems. But, in reply to your comment: Some of us on this website can think for ourselves.
Have a nice day.
Imagine that! I wonder why they keep her on the show? *ponder*
I can’t imagine why or how any sane person could watch that gaggle of geese on “The View”.
"Last night I was talking to Amy about nucular bombs..."
no dems
Sorry, I guess that I wasn’t very clear in my post?
I wasn’t talking about you watching too much Beck .. I was talking about Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
