Ten pirates have been arrested, and one was killed during the gun battle. They are being held aboard the tanker, Russian defence ministry spokesman Col Alexei Kuznetsov said.

They will be transferred to Moscow to face charges.

WooHoo! I bet the pirates are crapping in their confined quarters now that they realize they are in custody of the Russians. I bet they would give anything to be held by 0bozo and transferred to NYC for a politically correct pandering trial, and given 3 Islamic dietary meals per day, free medical, dental, beds, lawyers, etc.

I doubt that Putin or the Russians are going to be too worried about violating the "rights" of the pirates or feeding them politically correct Islamic meals or coddling them in any way. I would LOVE to see how these pirates end up.....I would say more than likely shot dead by firing squad after some horrendous torture. The Russians won't give two hoots for what Amnesty International or the International Red Cross will say. In fact, I doubt very much that Amnesty Int'l or the Int'l Red Cross will even ask the Russians, knowing the reply will be FU. I think we should transfer all our Gitmo detainees or captured pirates to the Russians for short order disposal.

Maybe we should outsource security of the free world to the Russians, at least for dealing with the muzzies.
