he frustration with the federal government's failure to deal with the issue of illegal immigration resulted in passage of a flawed state law. However intended, the result of passing this law is that our basic principles of equal rights and protection under the law are being called into questions, and Arizona's already struggling economy will suffer even further setbacks at a time when the state can ill-afford them."
The NBA Players Association is onboard, as is San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, who said they would play as "Los Spurs" but couldn't get custom road jerseys made by tonight's Cinco de Mayo tip.

Some reporter needs to ask the NBA Players Association and Gregg Popovich to make a comment to the Arizona families killed by illegal aliens; whom they just insulted.

Those people don’t attend NBA games in large numbers.
To: erod
I hope they go all the way and let “undocumented fans” into the arenas for the rest of their games. After all, tickets are an affront to American principles of equality.
To: erod
So if I crash the gate and not buy a ticket, they should have no problem with me. Obviously they could not press charges as that would be against their own philosophy

Yes, it was the Suns that initiated this crap, Pop is just piling on.
Now I am extremely sad that I have to say the same thing about my beloved Spurs as I said on earlier posts about the Suns...
The fact that they haven't even bothered to read the law which has resulted in their total ignorance of the issue suggests they need to put an "ER" on the end of their "LOS".

That's why REAL MEN are Hockey Fans.
Basketball is for uneducated thugs.

And Phoenix could have “Los Hijos!” Yeah, I know that means “sons” not “suns”, so let them be “Los Sols.”

I doesn’t matter what you want to know, what you need to do is shut the F up. At least that’s the message *I* seem to be getting from these people.

Oh yeah, pug noses, cauliflower ears, and first thing they do when they get off the ice is put all their bridgework back in. Some gentlemens sport. There’s no such thing as a gentlemen’s sport, as Tiger Woods has so aptly demonstrated.

We are talking about the NBA but the real root of the problem with these thugs started with high schools (later universities) overlooking criminal activities (that would have expelled anyone else) encouraging these little gangbangers’ in the name of “diversity”...
And the fact they are proficient at putting a round ball through a metal hoop.

Yeah, it’s looking like that. A bunch of moronic and extremely impressionable thugs make up a large segment of the NBA. It’s becoming unwatchable. If one tattoo is cool then a dozen must be even better! They think they’re making a statement. They sure are. They’re not nonconformist. They exemplify what the late Eric Hoffer called, “a rigid conformity of nonconformity” - all copycats with nary an original thought. And how about them “bitches and hoes?” Former NBA players certainly were’nt averse to spreading their seed. Shawn Kemp had 8 kids from 7 women, a mere novice compared to Calvin Murphy who sired 13 illegimate children from 9 different women. (The NFL’s Travis Henry fathered 9 from 13 women, all by the age of 28.) It won’t be long before they have various Hip Hop and Rap “artists” walking Pit Bulls around the court at Half Time.

By the way Im a Latino and I am so sick and tired of having us being lumped in with people who willing break the law.
You are not alone
My brother's mother-in-law came from Panama and she is mad that these lawbreakers came in the back door when her and her family had to wait in line and do it legally back in the sixties.
she says it's a slander against all those (Latinios) who took their vows of allegiance to and learned the langauge of their new home ....
She is the perfect role model of the New American

It doesn’t matter. I stopped being an avid fan after the “Golden Age” of NBA ended with John Stockton’s retirement from Utah Jazz.

I understand, but it is the Mexican-American population that is stirring up the stink over the Arizona Law and rallying the bleeding heart liberals by conducting protest marches, calling for boycotts and scaring the crap out of politicians with their threats of defeating them at the polls if they don't whimper down to their demands. So, let them pay the salaries of the NBA and Major League Baseball players.
THEY ARE STANDING UP FOR THEIR MEXICAN "BROTHERS" WHO ARE CROSSING THE BORDER ILLEGALLY AND PLUNDERING, RAPING AND MURDERING. GERALDO RIVERA CALLED THEM "OUR HONORED GUESTS"....BITE ME GERALDO!!!
