You can't turn your faucet on and get soda, Yea, actually you can. You just have to spend some money to have a bag-in-box, CO2, and fountain head installed as your sink faucet.
Just because people don't do it normally doesn't mean you can't.

Time to open up a water store 5 miles out of town. Save on sales tax that way too. That's probably where they forced Walmart to go... out of town. Now they've just outsourced more business to Walmart. ;-)

They're everywhere, because there are no more insane asylums. These days, when it's discovered that you're positively batshit crazy, you get elected to a political office.

“We only have one planet and I just don’t want to see it spoiled”
Seems she’s getting her “we” and “I” words a little out of sync.
No one want’s to see the planet spoiled you idiot.
I’ve had drinking water in Mass., and it sucks. Tastes like rotten eggs.
Why can’t they make a plastic that decomposes? I thought they already had that one nailed down using plastic made from corn or vegetable oil.
To: Puppage
No, Jean...YOU have MORE than one planet. It’s called planet “A-Hole”. :)

water is now illegal.
Big government is so far out of control I don’t know what it is going to take to get things back the way they should be.
To: nickcarraway
So instead of buying a bottle of water, you buy a coke, get fatter and burp CO2. Such intelligent beings, these liberals.

“Supporters say the production of plastic water bottles uses 17 million barrels of oil each year.”
A tree-hugger site say 1.5 million barrels of oil. Which is it?

Um, actually, I DO make soda at home with just tap water, a carbonator from Soda Club and SC’s flavorings. Works great. Saves us a ton of money and saves us from lugging soda pop from the store. The pastic bottles are reusable, so it is relatively “green”. Most times I drink the carbonated water without any flavoring (sugar free, always).

(Just my opinion ....)
Jeez,
I want to smoke. Inside.
I want to eat fat burgers. Two or three of them. With cheese.
I want to drink water from a bottle. A plastic bottle. And then toss it into a landfill. If the bottle comes in a neck strap six pack, I would like to toss that into the ocean.
I want to use lead paint and insulate with asbestos.
More than anything, i just want to be left alone.

bad news for retailers in Concord. These asshats dont even realize what they are doing to their own citys economy.
They don't need to worry about it - it's a very wealthy town. This is overreaching, of course, but bottled water is a scam - alas, if only that were the rationale.

Some enviro wacko politicias need ridicule before the voters.
Usually they are transplants and recent grads of some “university for stupid people”.
