HOUSTON - A small piece of luggage exploded at Bush Intercontinental Airport on Tuesday afternoon. No injuries were reported.
According to a spokeswoman for the Houston Airport System, the luggage exploded shortly after the jet landed around 2 p.m.
Ground crews said they noticed something strange about the luggage and were working to remove it when the explosion occurred.
While no injuries were reported

seems like the only time the “system works”..is when the terrorist screws up,..or some citizen notices something. Rarely is it because of stopping someone due to a bazillion dollar system in place.
What would have been funny about the NY times square suspect would be if his plane was able to take off and these federal agents were running on the runway behind it as it ascending up,..they were left scratching their heads kicking the dirt.

Flight patterns coming in are over a fairly dense population center, mainly residential and box stores. I can’t imagine what would happen if a plane were to go down in this area.

Nothing exploded, a “loud pop” was heard when they tossed the luggage to the ground. Just on Fox News as an update. Nothing to see...
Fox just reported that the loud sound was made from the ground crew dropping a piece of luggage and the luggage made a loud sound. Nothing exploded.
Note: I was worried when I saw the plane was a 747 from overseas.

Yep, he is on full alert with his laser vision focused on what happened, is happening and might happen. So we can sleep well tonight knowing that.
Hmm, guess my eyes were playing tricks on me then when I watched the video feed from a while ago and saw the hole in the luggage while it was laying on the ground.
