The AP reports that nine members of the Hutaree militia group accused of plotting against the government can be released until their trial.
The nine members of the Christina militia group were indicted in March on multiple charges involving an alleged plot to attack police, including seditious conspiracy and attempted use of weapons of mass destruction.
Here's the ruling:

In this case, the charge is an attempt to overthrow the US government... Look at them! They couldn't overthrow a Walmart.

"Look at them! They couldn't overthrow a Walmart."
Heck, from the look of them, I would say that most of them couldn't overthrow second base ...

It's the underlying "what" of the conspiracy. In this case, the charge is an attempt to overthrow the US government, and THAT is a crime of violence. They should be looking closer to DC for those wanting to overthrow the US government.

accused of plotting against the government I agree with prior posters. These were a bunch of kooks and blowhards running around in the woods talking in generalities about fighting the government while sitting around the campfire drinking beer. No evidence of any specific plot. This is the FBI and ATF bringing overzealous, politically-motivated charges to score publicity points.

They should sue the government for unlawful detainment.
All they are trying to do is protect this nation from a CEO who won’t show his birth certificate and bows to the caliph in Mecca.
