Just a heads up, Gold is going nuts again this morning, perhaps on news that the ECB will begin accepting any grade of Greek collateral. The old high, right in the beginning of the year, was just over $1200.

Obama and the Marxists/democrats have not even begun to print all the worthess money they hope to use to fully destroy the hated US economy.

Gold at $1300 by years end.

Gold at $1500 in 2 years if the Republicans fail to gain control of both House and Senate in 11/2010.

I don’t know if “going nuts” is an accurate description. More like grinding higher. (Up 0.3% this morning.)

I'M about ready to go nuts.

This whole thing called "value" .... isn't it just what people think and not a real thing?

Sorry for my poor vocabulary, but this is a thought that bugs me every now and then.

I can place a "value" on my 17 year old son, for instance, in that he does physical jobs around our property I am no longer able to do as quickly or as well. If he mends a fence or fixed the truck, we can continue or improve our way of living and life goes on.

A newspaper says gold is a certain amount because people on telephones say words that translate into numbers on a tote board and the "value" of gold goes up?

I don't get it.

Believing in God and eternal security has more "value" than that.

To amplify on what you said, our God is a creative God. Wealth is what you can do, what you can invent, what you can build. The good servant was the one who acted in the world to create more wealth for his master. Wealth is not a lump of metal sitting in a safe.

Even THAT wealth was invented .... what is usury but pennies added to an original investment.

Where did THEY come from, and who decided it was to be one cent or two to the principle.

Interest is invented "money"

Best,

And God’s definition of wealth is EXACTLY what the left seeks to destroy.

There is nothing that God has created that the left and their ideological father do not seek to destroy -

man/woman definition
marriage
humans’ dominion
creativity/hard work/wealth

just to name a few

Amen to that and, I’m planning on walking on streets of gold and the experience = invaluable AND eternal!

Goldbug ping

Looks like the 10 AM ISM number was leaked. Mini short squeeze this morning in both gold and silver for a round trip of about a percent. I’d say show’s over for today.

Mail me to get on or off the Free Republic Goldbug Ping List.

“me to review my bullets, beans and band aid cache again.”

Interesting you say that. I doubled my cache of MRE’s and water after the volcano.

We might be like animals who sense earth quakes before humans!

I read the whole book, two months ago.

I just got back from Sam's where I just brought my supply of dry dog food back up to 12 months. (click on my name to see my dogs)
