Sarah Palin now lags Obama only 45-47 after showing deficits of eight or seven points in each of the last three months. Both Obama and Palin have increased their base support, but Palin now trails Obama among independents 39-46 versus 35-49 in March.
While voters are about evenly split about whether they support the Democrat or Republican in this year's congressional elections, the Republicans have opened up a 20 point "enthusiasm gap" when it comes to how eager they are to go to the polls, according to Gallup's daily tracking polls conducted between April 1-25.
There were no mentions of worthy 'Big Society' concepts, no vacuous 'vote blue, go green' slogans. Time worn, winning Tory messages were pitched; tougher immigration rules, tackling welfare dependency, lower business taxes, sound money and smaller government. Result? Clear win for the Tory leader.
The RNC are fools if they don’t scuttle Michael Steele and offer the RNC Chair to Sarah Palin.
They’re probably Epic Fools and won’t.
She won’t take it! She is too busy thring to save this country.
hring=trying
Palin’s ‘loyalty’ to Juan is at the expense of her loyalty to the country. She finds it more important to support a man that has assisted in the destruction of this country because of some personal payback than to do the right thing and support the candidate that is clearly better for the country. This is NOT the type of leadership this country needs right now and it explains why her poll numbers have gotten worse with time.
She would be a bigger fool to take it. It is a thankless job fraught with opportunity for disaster and inter-party alienation at every turn.
ABC News/Washington Post poll
LMAO - your credibility ended right there.
I agree. Sarah's got more important things to do. She's going after all the fish. Not just a few.
Yawn, show me the poll that shows her popularity rising (even among conservatives). Let me help you, you can’t because it doesn’t exist.
You can't prove its falling either except for junk polls such as the one you posted. Proves nothing.
Having had the displeasure of looking at your posting history I see you are prone to juvenile name calling attacks where Governor Palin is concerned:
Bitch
Turd
Enemy
to name a few. Really enhances your credibility. At 40 years of age try acting your age instead of your shoe size.
Don't bother pinging me again.
Good day.
Those descriptions are quite appropriate for ANYONE that is putting forth the effort she has shown to get a pro-amnesty, pro-global warming, pro-campaign finance reform candidate reelected. This is an extremely important time for this country and Palin simply isn’t properly suited to lead us out of this hole. Sorry....
Your link said in a “poll done by the Washington Post”. Additionally, it was from early February. Fail X 2.
Just who is your candidate there Einstein?
Anyone that would pick a candidate 2 years out from an election is A retard Einstein. Two years is a lifetime in politics.
I take her support of Juan McCain very seriously.
Apparently so.
What kind of roll? Kaiser? Cinnamon? Egg? ...
Kaiser, Cinnamon & Egg is far better than
stale white bread which the WannaBies are.
Noone tatowntard picks would be electable. Replies to this type are pointless.
As a former Alaskan businessman Sarah is a jewel. The republican party of Alaska prior to Sarah was about to suffer the same disastrous defeat as the national party. She saved it with honesty and integrity. Is she perfect? No.
Only the Son of God who she believes in is.

I worked at the Frontiersman as a reporter in the mid-90s and watched Sarah Palin come up through the ranks locally. She’s not just smart. She’s brilliant. Her wilding via the left and the media has merely hardened her, like fire-tempered steel. Whether this makes her presidential material, I don’t know, but she has many years ahead of her. All I know is that I’ve seen her in action, I’ve seen her work with others, I’ve seen her actually do things, and I’ve seen what happens when she’s in a pinch. I’d vote for her.
