I was shocked. So there I am sitting on my bed. Shelia is on the phone with scratch marks across her tear-stained face, pleading for help, as her partner Debbie abuses her. Its a familiar pattern: objects are thrown, Shelia is pushed around, and verbally assaulted. One day theyre holding hands and kissing at the zoo but behind closed doors Debbie will snap and the sick dance begins again.
I use the word shocked because in Justice (Rescue Me Season Two) millions of viewers were introduced to serious lesbian-on-lesbian violence. It wasnt a politically-correct subject in 2006, and it isnt today, but when we show problems, are we causing them, or revealing them?

This has been a known fact for years.....just not televised.
When I used to have TV I saw some of this on COPS.
Women of any sexual persuasion are at least as bad as men in regards to being abusers. Having suffered for 10 years in an abusive relationship, I might even go so far as to say that in some ways they’re worse. Plus, whereas a male abuser uses only his fists and physical force to keep his victim from leaving, and can only exert local (in-household) control to make himself appear all-powerful, a female abuser can use the threat of turning the entire justice system against her victim.
Isn’t it a well-known fact that women can be very catty? Throw two cats in the same cage and there’s bound to be a little friction!
Fine human interest story for the newspaper, right? Domestic violence is everyone's concern, right?
Wrong. He told me that he was not going to write the story. He wasn't going to go there. No way! Absolutely not!
Liberal press bias in action.
Point taken! LOL!!!
I work at a VA and one of our old time councilors told me that despite working with veterans, ex cons and the like that the only two times he had a real danger was with lesbian couples freaking out on him.
When I was in college, I happened into a lesbian bar not realizing it was one until after I ordered my drink. (I am a woman) I was drinking and just talking to the gal next to me when her “girlfriend” literally chased me out of the place with a pool cue. That’s a true story.
Just like the media would never show what really happens at a San Fran Gay Parade they almost never show the reality that is just not PC enough
Are you sure you just weren’t “experimenting”?
Yes, I’m kidding you.
I knew a lesbian couple a few years ago. They always had scratches and bruises; looked like they’d been fighting wildcats.
They had mouths fouler than a Shanghai sailor too.
Just plain mean.
Well, there was that Greg Louganis story. His partner beat and raped him.
Of course their assumptions are white male heterosexual are the most common abusers since that is the template pushed by radical feminist.
It must be quite the shock that dysfunctional people (homos) are actually in the most dysfunctional relationships !!!
no doubt...
Ha Back in the late 70’s I was working for a company. A girl never told her boyfriend who worked on the dock at the company she was having a lesbian affair.
One day here comes the lesbian partner brandishing a knife threatening to cut this poor guy who knew nothing up.
I’d be curious to see if there has been anything documented about gay men and abuse.
They just kill each other.
