The bomb was planted in an SUV. As liberals all know, right-wingers LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE SUVs, so why would they blow one up? Clearly a right-winger would have planted the bomb in a Prius. Hence, this bomb is the work of an SUV-hating lefty.

Plus, any right-winger wanting to use a car bomb would know to use a Prius (or other electric hybrid) because they would have known that rescuers have to disengage the batteries and wait about 10 minutes before cutting into the car body, lest they get electrocuted by the massive amounts of electricity stored in the hybrid’s systems. I learned this little tidbit from a friend on the NYPD who was explaining why the rank-n-file in his precinct hate the electric hybrids Emperor Bloomie and the eco-fascists have been trying to foist on the NYPD - basically, if you get into an accident, they cannot cut you out immediately on account of the electrical systems. That’s something that would slow down any attempt to disarm a car bomb.
