Arizona's controversial new law that allows police to question people about their immigration status has ignited Bay Area efforts to overhaul national immigration laws and promises to draw the largest crowds to traditional May Day rallies in years.

People who haven't attended such events before are expected to join activists and families in San Jose on Saturday in a march from King and Story roads on the East Side to a rally at San Jose City Hall. Crowds also are expected to march through San Francisco's Mission District and Oakland's Fruitvale neighborhood.

The invaders will be waving the Mexican flag to proudly show what country they are loyal to.

The country that gave them a life of poverty.
The country that gave them no hope of escaping that poverty
The country that gave no education to prevent that poverty
The country that doesn’t want them to return

We definitely need a law like AZ here in Cali but don’t hold your breath. This state is infested with illegals..they are doing that BS May Day rally in Downtown LA like they do every year begging for their damn amnesty. Funny, when they came here, they had no issue cheating the system and refusing to pay taxes, but NOW they want amnesty..

Here's some good news:
Five states considering legislation similar to new Arizona immigration legislation
April 29, 9:36 PMChristianity & Politics ExaminerElizabeth Delaney

The Arizona Congress’ bold move insisting on their state's sovereign right to enforce the
choice of the majority of their citizens has sparked not only national debate, but national
protests. In fact, on Thursday it was reported by www.dailymail.co.uk that protests are being planned in over 70 cities across the US. The protests will take place this weekend. Interestingly, a number of Christians will gather in DC on Saturday to pray for our nation.

Obama has made it clear that he doesn’t approve of Arizona’s new immigration law, calling it “a wrong approach.” But a www.rasmussenreports.com article on Wednesday stated that, “
64% of Arizona voters favor the new immigration law signed last week by Governor Jan Brewer” (pictured below).

Other states who are considering measures similar to Arizona's are Texas, Utah, Georgia, Maryland, and Ohio.

www.wcpo.com article on Tuesday stated that Ohio Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones and Hamilton State Representative Courtney Combs announced their support for a bill that Combs is introducing in the Ohio Congress called “Ohio Job Integrity Preservation Act.” If passed, the bill would require private employers to check an internet database (which would be free) to make certain that job applicants are US citizens. The thought is that citizens would get the jobs rather than illegal immigrants.

Jones told WCPO that it is a myth that Americans are refusing to take many of the jobs that illegal immigrants are holding, and that “white collar professionals are now accepting blue collar labor jobs simply to have an income.”

Radio host plans Mega March counter-protest

by MONIKA DIAZ

DALLAS — Organizers of Saturday's planned Mega March in downtown Dallas expect to attract 100,000 people to voice their concern about immigration reform, but as they make their way down to City Hall, they will be greeted by counter-protesters.

Chris Krok, who hosts a talk show on 570 KLIF, will be leading that protest.

"No se puede!" said Krok in Spanish. "My answer is, 'No you can't!' You are an illegal. You need to follow the laws."

Krok applauds the State of Arizona for pushing one the toughest laws against illegal immigrants in the nation. He hopes Texas follows its lead.

"We love you like a human being and we have compassion for you, but just like we treat a drunken driver, or somebody who has committed a crime, we treat them with compassion and respect, but with the law," Krok said.

This could get really ugly if the rioters start invading what is left of the black neighborhoods in these cities, even inadvertently.

Contrary to the lib media line and the claims of charlatans like Al Sharpton, there is no love lost between blacks and Hispanics, especially in the critical front-line states like California and Texas. The white-run media tend to dismiss black/brown violence as drug-related gang activity, and a lot of it is, but I have to wonder just how much is a kind of vigilante action by people who know their government has abandoned them.

It is blacks who are hardest hit by the invasion from south of the border. Entry level jobs don’t exist for young blacks, while older people are finding it harder to hang onto the jobs they have in the face of illegal competition. Social services are also being hard hit and diluted, especially when Hispanic racism and favoritism (the dirty secret of the immigration debate) are taken into consideration. Perhaps we shouldn’t have these services at all but as long as we do have them, I think everyone can agree that American citizens should have first claim on them.

One of my employees in SW Texas told me that we stole California, Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada from them.

I calmly made the statement "We won". The look on his face was priceless.

Then I proceeded to show him the peace treaty signed by Mexico that ceded that land to the US after the war, and also showed him that we paid 15 million dollars to Mexico for the land, ergo, we did not steal it. I love educating idiots in the morning.

The media-fed sense of grievance among the self-designated victims and “have nots” is amazing.

Here at Texas Tech, an Indian graduate student recently cited his resentment of British imperialism as an excuse when he was caught cheating. Some of our token lib faculty actually took this seriously, even though the British had been gone for 40 years when this youngster was born. I told him, fine, he could go to a British university and cheat there if he liked but he couldn’t do it here.

NYC Mayor Bloomers states that this new law is good for NYC. It means more people will be coming to NYC. He says if anyone needs medical care they should come to NYC where they will be taken care of.

I heard it and I still don’t believe what I heard.

LOL that's a good idea!

In 2007 there were a lot of Mexican flags at these criminal insurgent rallies

Then they got such bad press, that they started bringing American flags.

Here's what is happening in my area

Arizona’s tough new state law has reinvigorated immigration rights advocates who had begun to worry that their calls for comprehensive reform legislation had fallen on deaf ears

Thousands of labor, civil rights and immigration activists plan to stage demonstrations nationwide Saturday, renewing their pressure on Congress to move forward on an immigration overhaul.

In Sonoma County, advocates predict the controversy will spark heightened interest in a march and rally scheduled for Saturday in downtown Santa Rosa.

Casimiro Alvarez, regional director of the United Farm Workers, said the Arizona law “is mobilizing a lot of people ... We’re worried that other states will adopt similar laws.”

*snip*

“People are outraged that such a bill could even be proposed, let alone passed,” said Leticia Romero, a member of the coordinating council for the Committee for Immigrant Rights of Sonoma County.

“What they’re doing is basically allowing officers to stop people based on the color of their skin,” she said. “What determines suspicion? How does a police officer know if a person is undocumented?”

The bolded part in the last paragraph is a bold--Ok bald--faced lie!

They stop a criminal insurgent invader because he has BROKEN THE LAW and then can ask for his papers.

Most of the criminals these days are illegal aliens who broke the laws of this country when they invaded out country.

There ought to be a law against illegal entry into the country.

There ought to be a law against stupid “journalists.”

Oh it usually is

Lots of illegals in my area

The police usually arrest only gringos on that day though

Too dangerous to arrest criminal insurgent alien invaders

Illegal Criminal Insurgent supporter L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and his council-members lie about the Arizona law and encourage alien invaders to march against American laws

Lies bolded

Mayor, Councilmembers Call For Participation in May Day March

Using recently-passed Arizona legislation as a rallying point, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa today joined Councilmembers Jose Huizar and Ed Reyes in urging participation in Saturday's planned march supporting immigration reform.

"I encourage all Southern Californians to join the May Day activities in Los Angeles," Villaraigosa said. "I encourage you to voice your support in unity and solidarity."

"I ask that you march peacefully," he continued. "I ask that you demonstrate to our city, our state, the nation and the world that the people who come here, in the vast majority, come here to work, they come here to contribute, they come here to participate in this great American dream."

The Arizona law requires police to check the identification of those who they believe may be illegal immigrants. "No one should be afraid to walk down the street because of the color of their skin," Villaraigosa said. "This law is not just anti-immigrant, it's anti-American."

"What's happening in Arizona is intolerable, it's unacceptable and it's unconstitutional," Reyes told the crowd of cameras and reporters crowded into the Mayor's Press Conference Room. The Mayor and Councilmembers were joined at the podium by more than a dozen immigration rights supporters.

...there is no love lost between blacks and Hispanics...

Shhhh! That's the dirty little secret we are not supposed to mention. I would bet a dozen doughnuts that there are far more racists in the Dem party then there is in the Repub party for this reason (Racists in both to be sure).
