Bipartisanship in Washington is largely dead this Congress, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Friday.
After warning in March that Republicans wouldn't cooperate on legislation for the rest of this year, a claim he had subsequently backed off, McCain said bipartisanship was "for all intents and purposes," dead.
"I would say that, largely so," McCain said of whether bipartisanship was dead this Congress during an interview with the conservative Newsmax magazine.
"There are certain areas where we can work together," McCain added, pointing to his work on the Armed Services Committee. "But for all intents and purposes, yes."

Ok, I’ll say what I’m thinking.
McCain - bipartisianship has been dead for a good while.
Why don’t you do the same?
That’s why I smiled...you wouldnt do a “The Juan McCain/Meghan McCain Truth File” ping list on him if you trusted him.
BTW : The name ‘Truth File’ sounds familiar.
There aren’t any common goals, John, screw bipartisanship! Gridlock is the best we can hope for now.
The word ‘bipartisan’ means some larger-than-usual deception is being carried out. - George Carlin
If this is true, it is only so because McBipartisan McCain is a dead duck in AZ. It speaks volumes that the man thinks he can put a pseudo-consevative shroud over his RINO suit, and we’ll just forget what he is at his core.
But if this were NOT an election year, Juan would be right in there CROSSING THE AISLE and betraying the American people as usual.
I agree with you but if they are not going to do anything then they should not get paid. Why should they get paid for sitting around doing nothing?
Finally the Republicans are trying to stop the dems.....I’d pay them for that alone.
“...dead for the REST OF THIS CONGRESS...”
Rino translation: Next Congress, the rino game to join the Marxists in selling out America resumes as if nothing happened.
