The mean old oil companies that leftist politicians love to decry, whilst simultaneously accepting huge campaign contributions from them, will most certainly profit. This time the MSM and the left will not be able to say it's Bush's fault. In fact, it is amazing that the left wing loonies are strangely quiet about the whole incident because surely if this had happened on President Bush's watch, they'd be saying the whole thing was orchestrated by Bush. So why aren't they ragging on Obama?
Have you ever noticed that there is always a refinery fire or special refinery maintenance right before the summer driving season causing the price of summer gas to go up? Maybe this year they are getting creative.
And isn't it very convenient that as Americans are more than ready to approve off-shore drilling, this incident will have the environmentalists screaming no drilling?
So I ask again, WHO PROFITS?
Never mind, don't look. Since the MSM hasn't even brought up the possibility this was intentional and keeps calling this an accident, it must be an accident, right?

Had some of those thoughts myself. Also, recently Obama shocked us by saying something about allowing offshore drilling. I never believed he’d follow through, but one does wonder what excuse he was hoping for in order to backtrack on his comments. Eco-terrorism? I believe that there are those in the green movement who definitely would stoop that low in order to get what they want.

Let’s see, on a 30’ section of hardened solid steel pipe, let’s put a device on the outside that no one of the drilling floor (poor souls who won’t be returning from the sea) didn’t see anything slightly bulging off a piece of steel down the hole. Oh, by the way, that device would have had to clear that drilling floor, the BPH, been bashed against the rock and then had cement under pressure rush against it without being pulverized? So it must have been inside the pipe where thousands of tons of cement was flushed past it during the cementation? And after all that, some nut job had some method to detonate a device from the surface which is more than a mile the sea floor and several miles beneath the sea bed???

I don’t want to be part of the black helicopter/ tin foil hat set, but with the out of control progressivism going on in this country it fits right in. If this leak goes on for 90 days as they are now predicting, the damage will be devastating and even staunch supporters of “drill here drill now”will not be able to overcome the legacy.
