Break out the pom poms . . .
Check out Norah O'Donnell's reaction to the news that Charlie Crist is poised to enter the Florida senatorial race as an independent.
Appearing on Morning Joe today, the MSNBC correspondent was absolutely giddy with excitement at the prospect that Crist's independent run could give Democrat Kendrick Meek "a real shot!"

Norah breaks out the MSM pom-poms ping to Today show list.
he is dead last
Yeah, no bias there.
Crists is exactly who we told people he is, party of one, in his own head — and of course his suntan bottle.
What is truly wrong with our politicians, it’s all about them.
Am I the only Floridian who thinks Crist will pull more votes from Meeks than Crist?
If Rubio loses, it will be because he expressed “concern” with regards to SB1070 in Arizona. That’s just code for him too being a shamnesty-supporting liberal.
Exactly. I’d say Crist’s cross will take votes from her boy, not Rubio (i.e. Florida teacher’s union employees weren’t going to vote for Rubio, they were going to vote for Meek.)
No, I am also a Floridian that thinks Crist will take away from Meeks not Rubio.
You have no shame. Rubio said in the same statement he hoped Obama didn’t use this to push amnesty.
Try reading his entire statement, not just what the MSM played.
Kendrick Meek is a DUMB BAG of ROCKS!!
Meek couldn’t win if Rubio and Crist dropped out.
What's wrong is that they represent the people.
You have to start to get your head around the idea that it's the universal franchise that is destroying our country.
When the pupil is ready, the teacher appears. It's that simple.
I hope Congress and the Obama Administration will use the Arizona legislation not as an excuse to try and jam through amnesty legislation, but to finally act on border states requests for help with security and fix the things about our immigration system that can be fixed right now securing the border, reforming the visa and entry process, and cracking down on employers who exploit illegal immigrants.
There you go from his FB page.
I'm sorry... but when I see someone having "concern" over a good law, it makes me overtly think that they are a liberal in conservative clothing. Besides, 0bama is going to push for shamnesty anyway, SB1070 or not.
Why not say this is a good law and be done with it? Or say nothing at all?
You are right. Nora is a crow.
Let me add to my previous comment.
"Charlie" Crist is a creation of the voters of Florida, and especially the stupid Republicans.
He is a nobody from nowhere with nothing to offer, except for a promise that if you vote Republican, the unicorns that sh*t skittles will play on YOUR lawn instead of the other guys lawn.
And he's not the only one, not by a damned sight.
I just hope that if Rubio wins, he doesn’t become another Mel Martinez. I just... ugh... am SO TIRED of the GOP supporting shamnesty (among other liberal things). Why can’t they stop being the Democrat-lite party and actually stand for something other than a watered-down version of the liberal agenda.
CHARACTER, a word seldom heard around politicians these days.
Blaming the people for your lake of same just makes it worse.
