(Reuters) - Hispanics and Democratic lawmakers furious over Arizona's harsh crackdown on illegal immigrants expect huge weekend rallies across the United States, piling pressure on President Barack Obama to overhaul immigration laws in this election year.

Protest organizers on Wednesday said outrage over the Arizona law -- which seeks to drive illegal immigrants out of the state bordering Mexico -- has galvanized Latinos and would translate into a higher turnout for May Day rallies in more than 70 U.S. cities.

Now we'll see who are the real violent protesters.

I predict clashes with police, rock/bottle throwing, windows broken, looting, fires.

Typical Democrat Communist Anarchist May-Day protest.

Yup, one of their core constituencies, illegal immigrants voting illegally, will go up.

Illegal Immigrants? If they immigrated in, they are not illegal. If they are an an illegal alien, they never immigrated in, and can not be called an immigrant.

Maybe they meant illegal migrants.

Nowadays a "harsh crackdown" is if you are questioned when you are suspected of doing something illegal

The Law seeks to drive illegal immigrants out of the state

That is sooooo controversial. Just let that sink in a minute......

It is controversial to even try to enforce the law.

What have we become?

Tea Partiers and conservatives get ‘enraged’; Latinos and Democrats get ‘animated’. Must be Newspeak.

Let them march! Everytime they do, more citizens are angered at the invasion. By all means, Latinos, show American citizens your arrogance.

Arizona immigrant law animates Hispanics, Democrats

Not half as much as it has animated non-Hispanics, Republicans and conservatives, who will turn out en-masse to vote these thieving racist Democrats out of power in November.

Arizona’s new law has 60% approval nationwide and 70% approval in AZ.

Let them make this bayonet charge against a political machinegun nest.

And you know what else? The illegal-o-philes are boycotting Arizona, BUT the BUY ARIZONA movement (buy-cott) has gotten bigger than the boycott!

Here's a wonderful FR thread to find all kinds of things you can mail-order from Arizona companies. Contact ideas to show approval for the governor of Arizona, and some lovely ideas for the HOORAY FOR ARIZONA BUYERS' DELIGHT:

BUY ARIZONA.

Good, the more publicity, the better. The entire nation will get to know this country’s opinion about the AZ anti-illegal migrant law. It will hopefully push other states to follow AZ’s suit, immediately. Bring it on.

The O’s handlers are chess players.

Push this issue to drive a wedge deeper between the GOP and hispanic voters. Use the public outcry (which they are orchestrating, its being driven by their own fake organizations and their own shills in the press) to frighten politicians into backing whatever immigration bill he hands them. Its probably already written, probably has been written for a couple of years now just waiting for the right moment.
