Apparently a source within HHS has said that Sebelius and her staff had access to info from the Medicare actuary that Obamacare costs would be much higher than publicly disclosed before the vote, but chose not to want to actually see the info. Their justification was "It might affect the vote...."
btt
Criminal...
We must fact the fact that the ballot box will not fix this enormous criminal enterprise.
Sebilius needs to be put under oath and asked - What did she know, and when did she know it.
Play this clip on EVERY SINGLE GOP ELECTION AD from the day they start running ads until the day they have to stop.
Hell No You Can’t! - that should be the GOP theme for Election 2010.
we need a CITIZENS investigation of HHS....not a congressional cover-up panel....
Traitors, criminals and scumbags...all of them
Yes! That is definitely it. I heard Bret Baier talking to Megan Kelly on Fox about the very details in the article you posted. They will be talking about all of this on Special Report later today.
Had Sebilius released this before the vote, when it was available, they could not use reconciliation.
Sebelius is a total pawn of NObama. I want her tried for fraud...perhaps even treason.
She is a perfect example of Democrat that will say or do anything to get their way, and will lie over & over again.
1) Take back the House in 2010.
2) Tie up the Senate in 2010.
3) Defund every piece of legislation Obama has signed.
4) Stop all aspects of Obama’s agenda.
5) Throw Obama out in 2012.
6) Restore America!
I’m shocked and surprised! It’s completely unexpected!/s
PING..
Please explain how this report would precluded the use of reconciliation. Also, does that mean that a successful legal challenge could be mounted correspondingly?
It shows that the bill is not deficit neutral or “better.” Reconciliation may only be used for bills that reduce or keep the deficit the same. This is why they spent so long tweaking (read that making up) the numbers to get it to under a $trillion. As to a legal challenge, I doubt it with this bunch in power.
