Man has done some fascinating and improbable things throughout the ages: Stonehenge, the pyramids at Giza, Machu Picchu, etc. Who is to say that this wasnt an attempt at greatness? Some high altitude attempt to reach the heavens? Good point. Yes, man has done some quite improbable things on this planet. A lot of them during ancient times. Your point is well made.
Like you, I think the probability that someone's found Noah's Ark up there is pretty small. I just enjoy exploring the subject once in a while. Beats being pissed off about Zero every minute of the day and night.

With the certain assumptions in place objects can be dated up to 50,000 years old. My point is that the dating method works for short periods.
Many dating methods are premised on the assumption that the earth was not created with an appearance of “age”.
