I still think the last immigration bill is what caused us to loose the the majority in 2006...

Nah, that was the war, the economy (which was a heck of a lot better than it is now), the spending, the corruption, Jack Abramoff, and last but not least of it all Mark Foley.

We are so scr@wed..everyone is going to fall for this. It’s going to get nasty again and everybody is going to flip out over immigration again and forget the takeovers.

Don’t beleive it for a minute. People were shutting down the House phones over immigration...most emotionally charged thing I’ve ever seen on FR besides the Terri murder.

Sounds just like my autobiography this year so far....

I just want to walk away from it all. Especially radio & tv.

It isn't the story because the politician in question has a D next to his name.

What does emotion have to do with anything?

The GOP was going to lose the House long before the August “melt the phones” deal over immigration.

Besides with 20% un/underemployment I doubt there is any appetite for amnesty among any legal citizens group, regardless of country of origin.

They are trying to emotionally charge the atmosphere. TEA parties are too calm. People protesting peacefully for freedom is not fitting their narrative.

Sorry Glenn but here is where you lose me. The old “they are all the same” rant.

Sorry but if you compare and contrast the coverage for the last 10 years and you see it not “Government Press”, it the Democrat Party press.

What Glen never seems to grasp is that when he paints with this broad brush, he splatters the same paint over the good as well as the bad people in DC.

Their are good folks in DC, Like Jim Demint, Jeff Sessions, Dr Paul Bourn, Joe Wilson, Michelle Backmann Mike Pence, etc etc etc.

It time to quit hiding from the truth and hold the actual villains accountable rather then ducking the issue by claiming “they are all the same”.

No they are not. Shooting our political allies in the back is not helpful.

That is all true.

But so far the only emotional outburst I’ve seen on the immigration front is some Latino kids smearing refried beans and carrying swastikas.

Yep...hope it stays that way. So far...we have the upper hand. One person losses it over immigration and we lose the independents and moderates again.

Just checking the available polling data. This guy looks like he will knock off Bennett.

On Today's Program

Arizona puts the 'AZ' in Nazi?

Because Arizona has taken the audacious step to make illegal immigration illegal, some lawmakers are calling for companies to boycott the state. The opposition to this law is quite confusing - what is it they are upset about exactly?  Some politicians are now saying this law is reminiscent of Nazi Germany. Wait, didn't the left say it's out of bounds to make Nazi comparisons?  ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

Rooting out progressives

Mike Lee is one of the leading candidates taking on the constitutionally challenged Bob Bennett from Utah. Glenn talked to the challenger on radio today and examined his views, understanding of the constitution, and his outlook. Listen to the interview to find out if it ends well, or not so well. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)
