More women in Palm Beach County turn to stripping in bad economy
South Florida Sun-Sentinel ^ | April 24, 2010 | Brian Haas

For more and more women in Palm Beach County, the road to economic recovery is paved with garter belts, g-strings and 4-inch plexiglass heels.

Take, Stephanie White, for example. She recently registered to dance at Sugar Daddy's in West Palm Beach. She said she has been looking for a full-time job for more than a year to help support her 2-year-old son, Lawrence.

"They're not hiring," said White, 20. But stripping? "It's something I want to do. Fast money," she said.

It’s amazing how fast will abandon all morals under the right circumstances. These people would love to be Gulag guards I bet.

Once they start stripping then they get their degree in education and become a teacher.

Now this is a jobs program I can approve of in a big way. The club dancers are independent contractors building our American economy one dance at a time.

Yeah. No doubts it’s just the economy that turns a would-be nun into a stripper. Uh huh.

The first question any Freeper will ask is;

"Where's Daddy?"

Of course we know that in all probability he's not around for support. So without even reading the story we can get a pretty good picture of what Stephanie is all about. She probably has made a series of bad decisions and she's compounding this with her recent decision. I'll bet that at 20 she has no job skills and not much education. So she's not very marketable for a decent paying full time job. So she probably wouldn't be very marketable even in a good economy. So many of the problems we face in this society are as a result of single mothers. Ann Coulter is very vocal about this and she's completely correct.

CORRECTION

After rereading the article, it nowhere says the woman is a single mother. Somehow I inferred this and was wrong. She may be a single mother but it doesn't say that. If she has a husband who is around, then it's possibly worse with his wife dancing at a club. Still not a good situation.

They tried, but the RNC had all the rooms booked.

Ya know, a lot of people made fun of that guy during the 2000 election, but if I recall correctly, he was the ONE REPUBLICAN on the board—trying to make sure there were NO FAKE BALLOTS in that stupid recount.

I don’t even remember his name...

Where do these men in the strip clubs get the money to spend there? They certainly seem to have plenty of disposable income. Or are they all on RNC expense accounts? Just asking.

One woman, who only wanted to be referred to by her stage name Kiara, said that dancing has gotten much harder since she started in 2000. More girls and fewer dollars have made getting by a struggle.
"The economy is so hard. I used to get $2,000 to $3,000 a night," Kiara said. "Now I get $300. Everything is so different."

If she has been "performing" since 2000 and could pull in 2-3k a night, why isn't she retired now?

Because it probably all went up her nose.

How nice. Such wonderful memories for her son. Sweetie, remember when Mommy took her clothes off for strangers? Wasn’t that fun? Aren’t you proud?
