For more and more women in Palm Beach County, the road to economic recovery is paved with garter belts, g-strings and 4-inch plexiglass heels.
Take, Stephanie White, for example. She recently registered to dance at Sugar Daddy's in West Palm Beach. She said she has been looking for a full-time job for more than a year to help support her 2-year-old son, Lawrence.
"They're not hiring," said White, 20. But stripping? "It's something I want to do. Fast money," she said.

I wonder how many of them voted for Obama, and for the Dems in 2006.

If I am not mistaken the Palm Beach area just had a special election and replaced one Liberal Dim with yet another. Bad economy, kids? Just keep voting like you do.

In 2004-2007 seems many businesses were practically begging for new hires. Change has come indeed.

” “It’s something I want to do. Fast money,” she said.”
This will become a somewhat common phrase after Obama loses his position. Hyper-capitalism will become the theme as people try to protect themselves against the government and financial blowouts in the future.
“Make money fast, stash it for the future.”

“It’s something I want to do. Fast money”
Isn’t that the real reason? If you went to college and got a degree in something, (in other words NOT fast money) then wouldn’t you be more eligible for a job? And wouldn’t you be more likely to move out of a small town to get one?

I wonder what happened to the young woman’s husband. Kind of young to be a widow.
Oh wait. Traditional morality is so judgemental. A twenty year old with a two year old with no form of employment other than stripping. What are the odds she won’t have another kid within a year or two?
Hope she breaks the cycle, gets it together, and escapes. But it’s not likely.

ROFL.
You’re a guy after my own heart. Always think hardware and tools first when it comes to economic emergencies.
