A retired Army general and national-security-policy expert says Lt. Col. Terry Lakin has "a valid point" and should use his "right to discovery" to force the Obama administration to produce proof of his natural-born-citizenship status.
In an interview with Evil Conservative Radio, Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely said, "I think many in the military – and many out of the military – question the natural-birth status of Barack Obama. … I'm not convinced that he is [a natural-born citizen]."
Vallely, CEO of Stand Up America U.S., graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and was commissioned in the Army in 1961, serving 32 years.

Is there a standing birthplace home of obama anywhere in the country?? You know...like all past Presidents whose homes are restored so that the American public can go and see where their leaders grew up and pass on that history to their children? Where is obama’s home?
Obama’s home? I’m sure the fancy address in the supposed birth announcement in the questionable shopper’s guide shown on his phony B.C. is in the plans to be revered as “his home”. In actuality, Stanley Ann lived with her parents in their apartment. Obamas’ spinmasters probably had intended to eventually buy the “mc mansion” and tout it forever more as his birthplace.

I agree.....however, I’m sad to report that the officers I interact with (2LTs to COLs) don’t seem to really care about the issue. They are more concerned with President Obama’s changing policy on Nuclear use and the even more restrictive rules of engagement in combat areas. Things like the restrictive ROEs had started under President Bush when SECDEF Gates took over and GEN Petraeus instituted his “kindler and gentler” army views. Plus, black service members are a significant group in the military (including the officer ranks), much greater than in the general population, and they are proud to see a black president.
Race relations in the U.S. Army are much better than in the general population....and no one wants to appear as being against having a “black” president which would disrupt the harmony being experienced. It really is a “catch 22” situation.

He's half white too and we are holding his white half accountable to the Constitution. If the blacks want to give his black half a pass, that's their prerogative and their shame, but we have Article II standards that the white half has to meet.
He’s very unlikely to have lived at that “Boyhood Home” for more than a year when he would have been 2 and 3. As the article says, the grandparetns moved from there in ‘63, he and his mother were in Seattle from September ‘61 until at least June of ‘62. He might have been there for a week or three before they left for Seattle, assuming they were ever there. No one remembers a mixed couple or a white girl with a black baby, living there.

Two birth announcements for him appeared in both Honolulu major newspapers on August 13, 1961 and August 14, 1961. Both newspapers have confirmed that they have always received their birth announcements from the Health Department and not from family or friends.

Anyone attempting to show that Obama was born somewhere else is going to have to present proof. Thus far, no one has presented that proof to the satisfaction of any legal authority.
