Host hurls Tebow ‘Nazi’ remark

A Boston sports-radio host yesterday likened former Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow’s NFL draft party to a “Nazi rally,” a remark one media observer called an “amazing double standard.”

Fred “Toucher” Toettcher said yesterday on 98.5 The Sports Hub, “It looked like some kind of Nazi rally. . . . So lily-white is what I’m trying to say. Yeah, Stepford Wives.”

Station spokesman Cha-Chi Loprete said the station “received no inquiries regarding” the morning drive-time show and declined further comment. Efforts to reach Toettcher for comment were unsuccessful.

I've expected a media attack on Tim Tebow for quite some time now. Tebow, a "muscular Christian," is the antithesis of what the Old Media must have if they're to continue to garner an audience. He provides a fine example of both character and achievement to our young people, and absolutely no juicy scandals with which to festoon Page Three. He'll never appear as a contestant on "Dancing With The Stars."

Intolerable! He might as well be Sarah Palin! (Say, how good is her throwing arm?)

We just had "Black Spring Break" in the Biloxi area. Imagine if someone tried to have a "White Spring Break".

The real deal is that radio stations were getting a lot of calls beforehand to tell us that we better not be racist and arrest any of these kids.

The station I listen to has it's stuff together (FOX Talk Radio 104.9) and let folks know that the only reason the chilluns got into trouble in the first place is from breaking the law with assaults, attempted car jackings and having sex on the hood of a family's vehicle that was stuck in traffic, etc. If they obeyed the law, there was none of that nasty "racism" stuff happening.

Boston is by far the most racist city in America. I was often stunned by the comments I would hear when I lived there. How any African American or Hispanic could play for the Red Sox or Celtics is beyond me.

I often felt ashamed for the people I found myself surrounded by at work. And these were intelligent, upper middle class folks.

The only fun was when the “diversity” overlords came to town. You could have charged admission to watch these folks squirm.
