I remember being young and stupid.

One earth day, I brought home 4 black olive trees that nobody wanted and I felt sorry for. I planted them around my house and years later regretted it after the roots destroyed my water main. One grew for 15 years, then hurricane wilma toppled it and after it fell over, the giant root-ball pulled up part of my driveway.

I celebrate Earth day by turning on all my lights (including outside lights) in the morning and leaving them on until the next day. I shower 3 times and water my lawn all day. I also make sure all my appliances are plugged in and drive in stop and go traffic (going out of my way) as much as I can. For good measure I will use as much salt and sugar as possible. I can't think of anything else I could do. Maybe I'll let some air out of my tires when I get gas in my suvs.
