Yes in the past Gloria was very anti-Castro. But now she supports a man and a party who want to turn the US into what Castro has turned Cuba into. Unbelievable! I suspect that Gloria is just another uneducated, unsophisticated, aging, washed up pop star. She's too dumb to even understand what Obama is all about.

Not to offend anyone, but a theory that I had holds true most of the time: you cannot trust people that come from Communist countries; even if they escape, or have come over since the Iron Curtain fell, they have been brainwashed.
I’ve worked with too many people from communist/ex-communist countries to overlook what I’ve seen from such ‘comrades’.

This is sad and I have no idea why Gloria Estefan decided to abandon her previous political position and throw in with the socialist Democrats and Barack Obama.
Whether it's about selling records, getting invited to the White House or simply becoming so rich and disconnected from your roots that you willingly buy into the anti-American leftist positions that are not far from the political positions of the hated Fidel Castro, Gloria Estefan is wrong and a huge disappointment to many. I hope she enjoys the Democrat's brief reign, that will end in another 6 months - if we still have an America by then.
