A 60's radical who's name became major part of the 2008 presidential campaign is on his way to Fresno.
Bill Ayers, the co-founder of the Weather Underground, is slated to make an appearance in downtown Fresno this Thursday evening. The event is free to the public.

Ayers didn’t enage in terrorism-terrorism. < /ABCDisneyView blather >
uh huh.
Ayers was an active participant in Weatherman’s 1969 “Days of Rage” riots in Chicago, where nearly 300 members of the organization employed guerrilla-style tactics to viciously attack police officers and civilians alike, and to destroy massive amounts of property via vandalism and arson; their objective was to further spread their anti-war, anti-American message. Reminiscing on those riots, Ayers says pridefully: “We’d ... proven that it was possible — we didn’t all die, we were still there.”
Perfectly appropriate questions to ask.
Sometimes things are not as they appear to be.
Just as the UN is called the UN. The Fresno Center for Non Violence
may be...who knows?
Re: “Communists are NOT permitted to teach in California. It is still established law”

Really? There were avowed commies teaching in LAUSD when I was in high school in the sixties. A few parents complained but the commies stayed in place.
There was a huge line of Ag majors holding up the entire back wall with their arms crossed staring her daggers. Even though I thought for sure there was going to be a riot, I was glad to see them there. Don't know why I went to see her other than I was probably curious. Angela was extremely unimpressive.
I wasn’t absolving him of any crime, I was adopting the media’s voice (same defense they used on Roman Polanski).
I agree. There were PLENTY of crimes they could have tried Bill Ayers with over many years including TREASON, it wasn’t just a single botched investigation. Even then you can get a conviction without some of the evidence and a new prosecutor/investigation.
why? don’t you know what he tried to do?
I know what you meant. Just posting an answer to the msm.:-)
Well, I don’t think that will happen. Any speaker freely speaking under the freedom our forefathers gave us in the first amendment should not have to go to a private venue to speak anymore that Stokley Carmichael, Ronald Reagan or Barry Goldwater did when they spoke on campous. This is a “Public University”. I assume you would not protest Sarah Palin or Gordon Liddy (at least he was convicted of his charges) from similar articulation of their ideas?
There are many court cases defining “public forum” where free expression is permitted and where the establishment clause kicks in. As an example, we can’t have any expression of any faith on taxpayer property. Since this is taking place on taxpayer property, with the possibility of taxpayer dollars spent, I say kick up a fuss. I’m not saying that is right, what I am saying is that it is time to use the lefts arguments and court precedents against them for a change.
Suppose we should also have the unibomber, KSM, or Osama bin Laden? It’s free speech after all.
’The Fresno Center for Non Violence’ Why did they invite Bill Ayers, then?”
You nailed it, Eagle. I’m quoting that.

Good god who cares!!
Your husband has standing. You can count on Jerry Brown to get right on it....
How much did you send before?
$oro$?
Well, Columbia U hosted Achmadinejad, so there is precedent, unfortunately.
If I was there I would go..and I would ask Ayers the question....
“Why did you call the police on the Fox news reporters that were trying to ask you a question outside your brownstone house when you came home from shopping?”
“Why did you call the police...didn’t you use to call them “the Pigs”?
(big tough revolutionary...HA!)
