This is so sad. These were obviously leaders who were loved by their people. When you lose your freedom time and again,as the Poles have , when you fight to reclaim it you cherish it. Poles are proud people with long memories. They won’t forget Russia’s treachery towards them. Nor will they forget Obamas either. God Bless them.

I remember one Christmas Eve, 1976 or so, when my family and the Gaikowski family in Minnesota, USA lit a candle in solidarity with the Polish people. Who knew then of God's power to be displayed. Communism fell, because of the brave Polish people. We still stand in solidarity with you brave souls. Barbara Martin, Minneapolis, MN USA

Why must it always be Poland that suffers so much?
Or is it though so much pain that they have become so unassailable?

Hard to imagine; such a painful history in the making. Prayers for Poland; and all Polish citizens who must fashion the next chapter.
Thanks for pictures.

Thanks lizol.
So very sad, our hearts go out to all Poland.
Funny how you don’t see any protesters amongst any of this.
