A Navy Chief once told me that close only counts in three things: horseshoes, hand grenades and area-effect weapons. Now, when it comes down to how the mainstream media tried to portray members of the Tea Party they did not come “close.”
Unless you have been living under a rock for the past year, America has witnessed a popular uprising of people who have grown concerned by the massive power grab by President Obama and his allies in Congress, who have tried to cram “activist government” down our throats, while leaving the bills to our kids, grandkids and their children’s children.
When the grassroots efforts of the Tea Party Movement first took hold in the early days of the Obama regime, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi dismissed the movement as “Astroturf,” disheartened Republicans and racists, who could not accept a bi-racial man as President. The mainstream media and Democrat activists, taking their orders right from the Speaker’s office, tried to portray the political debate as being solely based on President Obama’s race and not the policies of an overreaching government.
During the Health Care debate this same media, along with the Democrat leaders, tried and failed in their attempt to use civil rights icon John Lewis and other members of the Congressional Black Caucus as foils to induce a racial incident to smear the Tea Party Movement — the citizen-reporter was there to bring you the real story and foil their plans.
The blogsphere was able to expose Democrat activists who sought to infiltrate the Tea Party Movement to incite incidents of violence, but once again these plans were foiled by blog sites such as Freerepublic.com, which exposed Oregon public school teacher Jason Levin the man behind “Crashtheparty.org.”

You’re right, they can taste victory. 0bama getting elected was not their victory it was just their start. Victory will be when you cant tell the difference between the US and Venezuela anymore. If people think that in Novemeber we will just vote them out of office and this will be over well I’ve got some beachfront property in Death Valley I’d like to sell them.
There have been blacks at every tea party I have been to, and they walk about the crowd just like everyone else, in complete safety and comfort. Liberty is for everyone who wants it. Only leftists are obsessed with race, nobody else gives a rats arse.
The pure racism of this question can easily be seen if the participants were reversed!
If it were a white person at a predominantly black rally can you imagine this question being asked?
“How to you feel, Mr. Whitey, being in this group of blacks?”

They will not go away. As it is now our nation is evenly split between the producers and moochers. They moochers are not going to give up the fight.
That is why conservatives must not only be fighting issues in the short term but also must have a long term strategy.
One of the **MOST** important things conservatives should do is to SHUT DOWN EVERY GOVERNMENT K-12 SCHOOL IN THIS NATION! ( Yes, I am shouting.)
And..Work to see that every child in this nation has access to a conservative private school that teaches the Judeo Christian values upon which our nation is built. Do this and conservatives will begin to take back the cultural institutions that are now dominated by the atheistic Marxists.
In order to learn what Obama and shadow government are doing you have to realize that Barack H. Obama was raised a Marxist/Communist from early childhood into his adult life with friends and mentors teaching and living (Saul Alinsky's rules) Obama is a Marxist Community Organizer...that is what a "community organizer" is...a communist - not an American in any way.
Good point, I send my kids to Catholic school for that reason. What sold me was when I toured the school and the kindergarten class recited the preamble to the Declaration Of Independence. Brought a tear to my eye. My daughter even surprised me when she told me she learned about the Green Mountain boys and wanted to get their flag. Thats the last thing the publik indoctrination compounds want you to know.

Tea party activists aren’t just a “bunch of yahoos who make a lot of noise” and are instead a “force to be reckoned with” for both Democrats and Republicans, “Face the Nation” moderator Bob Schieffer said on “The Early Show” Thursday.
A CBS News/New York Times poll delved deeper into the movement’s size, makeup and beliefs, revealing insights that could pose problems for both major parties, Schieffer said.
“I think the most important thing about this poll is we now have some sense of just how large a group this is. It represents about 18 percent of the voting public. That is a force to be reckoned with,” Schieffer told “Early Show” co-anchor Harry Smith.
“One thing the polls also show, this is not just a bunch of yahoos who make a lot of noise. We’re seeing they’re actually more educated than Americans in general. These are people who seem to have a legitimate anger building ... and I think that is the thing that both parties have to worry about.”[snip]

Sachs is being charged for what happened (Bird & Fortune...subprime loans)...just a reminder of how congress handled the last subprime mess....Pelosi's congress made no law to stop that from happening again.....anyone see or can find law to that? Chris Dodd skipped and Barny Frank is written all over this bundling, selling and giving people the right to make loans they have no hope of ever repaying. Frank is not betting along with the GS folks, he has his own little fiefdom which is just as crooked as GS....where was and or are the SEC folks? This is also a government (Timmy Geithner & Obama) huge power grab.
May the pain of his no-doubt inevitable firing by CBS be brief ....
