Shameful. We should be thanking him, you know.
The 46% who say Obama deserves re-election is similar to his recent job approval ratings, which have been running just under 50%. The current results also echo what Gallup found recently when it asked voters whether they would be more likely to vote for Obama or the Republican candidate in the 2012 presidential election
The current numbers for Obama are similar to what Gallup found for Bill Clinton at almost precisely the same point in his presidency, in late March 1994. In that poll, 46% of Americans (the survey did not identify registered voters) said Clinton deserved to be re-elected and 48% said he did not
In late 1991 and early 1992, Americans were more inclined to say the elder George Bush deserved than did not deserve re-election. However, over the course of 1992, his approval rating dropped and voters ended up voting him out of office in favor of Clinton.
Consider this a reminder on why I think Romneys still in contention for the nomination, RomneyCare notwithstanding: Stuff happens. A lot of stuff, and very quickly. That said, I do think these numbers are significant for two reasons. First, the split here among Democrats is a robust 84/12, which makes the poll of Jewish voters that I flagged yesterday seem that much more significant. They split 42/46 on the similar question of whether theyd vote to reelect Obama today or whether theyd consider someone else.

He didn’t deserve the first term. Voting for him again would be insane.
Perhaps this is why they are so desperate for a third pary, ala Ross Perot.
This isn’t going to happen.
Reelected ?????????????? He needs Jailed!
Not anywhere near enough. Obama or some other Democrat ally will simply declare victory and nobody will stop them.
Worse than Clinton and worse than Carter.
Knowing this, expect the CommieCrates to mount campaign to counter ‘resistors” and/or ‘The Resistance and/or Reactionary Forces” in the very near future!
Jailed first and then deported.
Also my dear Freeper Friends worldwide, but especially right there at ringside in the USA, learn from the great ones like Lech Walesa and Vaclav Havel and others.
We can take this anti-Communist, pro-Freedom movement BIG TIME.
I mean, over the next six months, we can multiply TEA PARTY MEMBERSHIP by even twice or three or even four times, and swell public rallies to even larger sizes.
Great gains were made in Eastern European socialist countries even a) WITHOUT a totally free press and widespread independent news sources; b)WITH strict gun control limits on The People; c) WITH a large occupying Soviet Army watching every move, and d) WITH a Western liberal intelligentsia and US Democratic Party generally ambivalent and unsupportive of them.
How much less free are we in the USA in 2010 compared to Communist Poland and Communist Czechoslovakia in 1980-1990 timeframe? We have FAR LESS IMPEDIMENTS AT THIS TIME IN OUR HISTORY, with the exception of our own lethargy and lack backbone of getting all of our relatives and neighbors involved.
But they, the victors of Eastern Europe, had IMMENSE COURAGE AND BRAINPOWER even despite official Communist media slanders or ignoring them or arrests and even deaths (Father Jerzy Popiełuszko), but they pressed on until absolute victory, filling up city square after city square with hundreds of thousands.
We may well have to do the same, as well as beat the living pulp out of them at the polls in November and thereafter. Here, let this video of the Solidarity song 'Mury' with accompanying photos tell the story. Try not to cry.
Take Heart, Freepers! Take Heart, Tea Partiers!
In fact, I think a delegation of senior Tea Party leaders from the several states should fly to Eastern Europe and meet with these valiant veterans and tacticians of peacefully toppling the Soviet Union and it's satellites, and see if they can get endorsements as well as professionally retained consulting from these seasoned leaders who led massive crowds to victory over Socialism and Communism. Just my take.
Together, we will massively and peaceably PUT AN END TO THIS REGIME OF BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA and the rest of his Marxist-Leninist imposters who have found their way to the pinnacle of American Power--for the time being at least.
Thank you, AIT. I think we can learn a thing or two from those brave Poles.
0bama will almost certainly be re-nominated. The Dims cannot lose the black vote. But, 0bama will not likely triangulate like Clinton did. He is too personally invested in his Marxist ideology and could therefore not tolerate compromise. Zero is unable to compliment his opposition even if it would advance his cause. This is fortunate because Americans were almost duped into dictatorship by the very affable FDR. 0bama cannot replicate FDR’s devious charm, instead, 0bama would need to resort to brute force to gain total control and that could lead to open conflict.
A very real scenario.
I don't think anyone denies this. If we could get McCain, we could get Romney.
But with Obama running on his record, he'll return to the "let's all get along, I listen to everyone, especially those who disagree with me" (snicker) song,. I don't think people will buy it, and will quite possibly vote for whoever the Republicans put up.
The problem, then, would be Romney or someone else getting in and saying 'You know, we can work with this healthcare law..." I just can't imagine Romney going in and tearing the guts out of all the crap Obama's putting into place.
“Jailed first and then deported.” Agreed 100%.
