Ya. When I was a kid the annual first night of really warm weather brought everybody out on the streets and with that the obligatory Bravo Sierra that went with it.

Six people were killed and at least 11 others were wounded across the South Side in an area stretching from the Back of the Yards neighborhood to the Calumet Heights neighborhood to the Morgan Park neighborhood. There Obviously this story can't be right. Chicago has Obama/Brady/Daley "reasonable"* gun control. Therefore criminals don't have guns there, and crimes like this just can't happen. Everyone knows that criminals who are going to shoot someone will look at the gun control laws and throw their guns away or turn them in to the police.
*"Reasonable" in this context means a total prohibition on gun possession by anyone except government bureaucrats ie JBTs.

If you think Thursday was fun just wait for the Friday Night Firefight. Murders in the city proper are so common that unless they actually have video of the shooting they don’t bother reporting them any more.
