Last Friday night, Allee Bautsch, the chief fundraiser for Louisiana's Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal, was violently assaulted, along with her boyfriend, outside of a famed New Orleans restaurant. Initial reports on the incident were murky, but Yahoo! News has learned that the attacks appear to have been politically motivated.

None of us are safe.

To the contrary - we know what to expect from them. They have no idea what to expect from us.

Meanwhile we have to be treated to another homily from that tower of virtue, Bill Clinton, saying people should cool their rhetoric because, 15 years later, he still thinks right wing talk helped facilitate the Oklahoma City bombing. No words of empathy though for these people in New Orleans or other victims of left wing hate.

They really need to reconsider their headline: your link take you to a post where they cite a Yahoo news story which says “Allee Bautsch believes it was politically motivated.” We need to be sure of the facts before we jump to conclusions about the attack.

Or maybe I’m just hoping that ‘human beings’ wouldn’t attack other human beings just because they had a Palin pin on!

The one person in the chatroom that did bring up something of a July 4th, or close too July 4th tea party was the lady that is now famous for ringing the bell, Bell. But I think if anything, it would be wise, my honest opinion, to have that rally on the 3rd, so to keep the 4th free as you said for, picnics and vacations or extended weekends. Just found out July 4th this year is on a Sunday. Best to have it the Saturday before or July 3rd for that reason. If any rally does take place, then, I will be just be one of the folks in the crowd, will not be helping Kay out.

Compose a note, attach the news articles that are coming out to your note, and shoot them out via email to everyone on your email lists.

If the news media won’t do their jobs, then we will have to take on the task ourselves, and get this out for all to see what, and how the Left is, and does to people that are pro-American.

Assailants knocked down Bautsch and stomped her repeatedly, breaking her leg in five places.

Bautsch’s mother told Fox News on Friday that her daughter was not robbed, but her boyfriend was “after she was screaming on the ground.”

Governor Jindal's response is the correct one. He, like the majority of Republicans, respects the law. He won't panic and will let the investigation proceed without interference. Nonetheless, he needs to understand RIGHT NOW that an inept investigation will not suffice, and he needs to exert unseen but palpable influence to make sure that mistakes are not made, and the guilty are found, arrested, prosecuted, and given the maximum allowed by law. These people who were assaulted are his friends, and he needs to let his friends AND his supporters KNOW beyond any doubt that there WILL NOT BE any tolerance for this manner of violence against them. Obama likes to be coy with his supporters and talk of bringing a gun to a knife fight. Jindal needs to let the scum in Louisiana know that they shouldn't start a fight they can't finish, or don't let your alligator mouth overload your punk canary ass. You got a pair of fists and a pair of stomping legs? You like to beat women? Well then, I'll raise you a thousand junk yard dog officers armed with fully automatic weapons A/H.

We saw some pretty pathetic stuff with NOPD during Katrina. It has its share of morons and goobers who don't quite get the concept of "To Protect and Serve." That being said, I will wait also, because I don't know the quality or qualifications of the detective who was assigned this case. And, it IS a HIGH PROFILE case. He might be an excellent investigator who was promoted because their investigations were so bad that they needed to show some competency.

I have in mind a couple of Democrat politicians in thinking about the response to this incident. Both the people I have in power would take this PERSONALLY. They would already have sent "their people" down to chat with the Police Chief and the D.A. and they would have secured a guarantee that the suspect(s) would be caught AND convicted!

Plus, there would be an element that Democrats use when they are enraged that Republicans won't use. The Democrats will have a two tracked investigation going. The first one is the "official" investigation being conducted by the Police Department. The second "investigation" would be conducted by private investigators and no money would be spared. Money to informants would be lavished and VERY SOON, the identity of the suspects would be known with dead certainty. If for some reason, the official investigation were to sputter and falter, the suspects would still receive punishment. The second investigation would guarantee it.

Not worried. These people are going to come to your doorstep and try to kill you. Once they cross the line, it’s all self-defense from there.

The initial source, a blogger, "Pat Dollard reported that a NOPD official spokesman had confirmed that the insults hurled at Bautsch and Brown were political in nature, giving strength to the argument that the assault was politically motivated. The spokesman later walked back that allegation to Dollard, not precisely denying it but refusing to confirm it."

Of course it is, their intimidation tactics appear to be working too as no one has the guts to come out and say it was.

Here’s the MSM’s idea of being “even handed”.

“While attention has recently focused on threats and anger among conservative activists opposing health care reform, the attack on Bautsch and Brown may be an ugly reminder that vicious behavior exists on all sides of the political spectrum.”

Magnanimous, aren’t they? /sarc

Imagine Yahoo’s reaction if a bunch of tea partiers had broken a girl’s leg n five places.
