President Barack Obama struck a hyperpartisan note Thursday, telling Democrats that he was "amused" by the Tax Day Tea Party rallies.
Obama, addressing a Democratic National Committee (DNC) fundraiser in Miami, did little to endear himself to the Tea Party groups protesting around the country, saying "they should be saying thank you" because of the tax cuts he has signed into law.
The president went as far as to say that this week's special election in Florida, which was won by Democrat Ted Deutch, was portrayed by Republicans as "a referendum on healthcare, a referendum on the stimulus."
"And you know what, it was," Obama said to applause.
Obama continued to dare Republicans to run on a platform of repealing healthcare reform, telling the audience "they won't be very successful."

If the whole country mirrored this district he would be correct. Unfortunatly for Obama it does not. Not yet anyway.

He’s now officially in the denial stage. Good. Arrogant eff deserves everything that’s going to have happen in November. A $400.00 tax credit for a single making less than $75,000.00 a year, a $800.00 tax credit for couples.
What is that!?
We want across the board tax cuts to EVERYONE!
Drastically cut corporate taxes! All taxes placed on business is passed onto the consumer in the cost of their goods and services! Only individuals pay taxes, business MUST pass this expense on or they will not be in business. THAT would not empower the federal government so it will not be considered.
It would create a robust economy though.

The only tax “cuts” went to people who already don’t pay taxes. The rest of us are paying and will continue to pay for the 47% that don’t pay squat.
That is sad. Someone like Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams or Herman Cain would have been really good as president.

He made fun of working taxpayers, many of whom gave up a day of work to protest. You knowm, the people that pay the bills.
He is a thug and a bully, who has ever done a constructive thing in his life. He was groomed for this day, to take this power, to ram through every progressive wet dream of the last 100 years.
November 2, 2010 is the LAST peaceful chance we have to stop this runaway train in DC.
Failing that, this will not end well. The battle lines are drawn.
That “amusement” at these silly, pesky little people in the streets public squares is chillingly similar to Marie Antoinette’s famous attitude. He doesn’t get it, but he’s about to.
Someone should photoshop him as Marie A. Then we could compare to see who looks better as a woman: brocko, or little chrissy matthews.
Even if the Dems get crushed this November Obama will convince himself that it had absolutely nothing to do with him.
Is he? He is only reacting in a manner that his constituents demand he act. They want this.
Our only real question is how many of them truly are there? This we don't know. I do know his Rasmussen numbers only increase the more Chavez-like he acts.
We can not be lulled into a false sense of bravado because we spend our time in echo chambers.
