Angry Fox News executives reportedly ordered Sean Hannity to abandon plans, announced as late as this afternoon on his nationally syndicated radio program, to broadcast his TV show from a Cincinnati tea-party rally he was headlining.
Hannity, on a book tour for his No. 1 best-seller "Conservative Victory: Defeating Obama's Radical Agenda," was scheduled to be the featured speaker at a four-hour rally at the University of Cincinnati

LOL!!
thanks! I was wondering if I might need a different pic on my profile!
;-)
That, alone, identifies you as a rock-solid CONSERVATIVE.
libs have no sense of humor. Nada. A smile would crack their face. And they don't get ‘the joke’ - which is them.
Cant whine when MSNBC does stuff like this and then justify it when Fox people do it.
MSNBC would NOT pull its people from a MoveOn Fest. They'd set the anchor desk right up in the middle and broadcast news, not commentary, from the midst of their CommieFest 2010.
So, one has to wonder at Fox News' reasoning in this one.
Personally, I think it means that Fox News is fearful of some kind of money or legal issue.
I’m doing great! Had a great time yesterday at the DC Tea Party. Hope you’re doing same.
I know what the left thinks. I don't want to hear the mindless blather repeated at me. It is mentally UNCHALLENGING.
My hard drive was compromised and I was able to recover all but previous e-mails. Mike is going to work on it this weekend and I will send you the e-mail I received concerning the Freedom Concert.
The internet’s near instantaneous ability to spread the message through the use of memetics(what they call “talking points”)is infinitley superior to that of T.V. . The internet is also superior to T.V. as a tool for social control. Together they can create an almost imperceptible secondary reality for the human mind. The powers that be are caught in a catch 22 in regards to their plans to “regulate” the internet. If they regulate it to much ,they will loose some of their abiltity to discern the mind of the public. If they don’t regulate it enough, they risk a large segment of the public going “off message” and thinking for themselves. I think the awakening that has occured over the last couple of years or so is evidence of the latter.
I have a term I use to describe the effects the media as a whole has had on the minds of the citizens of this country, Pavlov’s Nation. They keep ringing the bell but I’m not listening.
Been paying attention to elections since 1948. No one is who you think they are..
I can see a new TV network being formed - free from the Fox restrictions.
I know Breitbart, PJ TV, other new media networks are potentially new challengers to Fox and the rest of the MSM.
Fox is making a huge mistake to separate Sean Hannity from the Tea Party movement.
Look for a new power house network to challenge Fox and the other MSM soon!
They've finally figured out that the Internet stands between them and "confining the Message"...
With the Internet, We the People can access and disseminate information - end running their heretofore control. Spiking a story is new impossible. It WILL get out.
The MSM and the pols in DC have had a very slow learning curve on this. But they finally get it.
It infuriates and frightens them. Their initial solution of course was to control it. They've lost that battle, so far.
Dissemination of information to the 'masses' had always been the biggest danger to despots intent on taking over a country/peoples. The first thing, in the past, was the shut down of communications, isolating people from news and the ability to connect and act.
The Tea Party is emerging as a shining example of how people can fight a tyrannical 'regime' - because of the ability to communicate. The printing press ushered in a great age of 'enlightenment' as people were able to get information on a wide scale. And the telephone. and the radio. but these could all be shut down by the 'invading despots.'
The Internet is an almost magical means of communication and information...and they can't figure out a way to control it. they have a problem - how do they shut us down from the Internet and still be able to operate themselves.
I am all for the Tea Party ,but it suffers from a couple of serious flaws. The first is the fact that over time the Tea Party has become less about the Tea and more about the Party. It is disturbing to watch something spontaneous and free be captured and morphed by the usual suspects. The second has to do with what I called Pavlov’s Nation. A large percentage of the these well intentioned people are still trapped in the secondary reality that the usual suspects helped create. It makes me want to grab them and shake the cognitive dissonance right out of them. If I were to self identify as to an ideology or philosophy it would be natural law. What I think we are witnessing with the current movement to a large degree ,is that part of natural law called human nature. There is only one absolute freedom that all humans are born with ,and that is freedom of the mind. It is unrestrained by the frailities of the body ,and cannot be chained down by the arbitrary laws of another. It is the very essence of human nature ,and it hates the unreality of lies and yearns for the reality of truth. The powers that be think they can construct a prison of false reality to take away this freedom ,and with it the rest of our physical freedoms. In the end this error in judgement will be their undoing.
