Jacksonville Patriots, please call our city council members today. They are actually considering moving forward a nomination of Ahmed Parvez, former National Chairman of CAIR, to be on....get this...the city's HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION!
I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Ok, cry. I cannot see how one could possibly think that anyone affiliated with CAIR would be an appropriate member of a Human Rights group, especially here in America! Islam's political ideology and the liberty and rights we stand for as Americans are mutually exclusive. Not to mention, we're kind of at war with radical Muslims right now. Did I even have to point that out? Did CAIR think about infidels' human rights while they were helping to fund HAMAS? Oh, guess not.
Anyway, please please call today or tomorrow, because the vote is Monday. Ask them to vote AGAINST moving Ahmed Parvez' nomination forward. Here are there numbers:
Art Shad, Chair, 904-630-1382, AShad@coj.net/ Jack Webb, Vice Chair 904-630-1388, Webb@coj.net/ William Bishop 904-630-1392, WBishop@coj.net/ Michael Corrigan 904-630-1390, Corrigan@coj.net/ John Crescimbeni 904-630-1381, JRC@coj.net/ E. Denise Lee 904-630-1385, EDLee@coj.net/ Clay Yarborough 904-630-1389, Clay@coj.net
Please call, Jacksonville. This is important. If you’d like more info, go check out ACT for America.
‘Human Rights Commission’ is all you need to know.
I went to Highlands and Ribault HS before I left for the USMC in 1973. I used to tell people J’ville was the biggest redneck city in the US. I guess that’s now all changed..................
No, I wouldn’t call it a “redneck city” at all, let alone the biggest one in the US. It’s a really, really nice place to live.
This nomination issue burns me up so bad.
In 1969~1973 it was. Still have relatives there and in Hilliard/Callahan...........
It changed alot, you need to visit sometime.
What specific reason should I state the opposition to his nomination in the e-mails?
unreal .. the enemy is infiltrating left and right in the country and people have no clue about it.
I do visit from time to time. But not in the city itself. I’m usually passing thru to go to visit relatives. I lived in Sherwood Forest off Soutel when I was a teen and my first job was at Milligan’s hamburger joints (like Krystal) and then for Krystal on Main Street when it was a drive-in with car-hops and curb service. One of my isters still lives in Jax. I love the Gulf Coast here in Ft. Walton Beach. I’ve lived here for 30 years.............
