Unified Theory of Glenn Beck (Newsweek Says He Wants Fascist Mormon Regime)
Newsweek ^ | Apr 13, 2010 | Andrew Romano

Posted on 04/14/2010 3:27:06 PM PDT by nickcarraway

The radio and TV talk-show host gets such outsize media coverage—especially from the left—for the same reason he attracts conservative viewers: he validates their beliefs.

Hello, America.

Tonight, a report on how Glenn Beck is planning to replace our democracy with a fascist Mormon regime—and how he's relying on a Saudi Arabian terrorist sympathizer to help him do it.

I know, I know. You haven't read anything about Beck's nefarious plot in the paper. But that's the mainstream media—too busy refilling their lattes to bother covering our country's impending collapse. Good thing I have this chalkboard ready so I can diagram it out for you.

***

At this point, there are two types of people in America: the 10 million people who pay attention to Glenn Beck and the 294 million who try, and fail, to ignore him. Until last week I was one of the latter. I'd never watched his show on Fox News. I'd never listened to him on the radio. I'd certainly never read one of his books. And yet somehow I kept stumbling, via cable news and the blogs, upon footage of Beck calling President Obama a "racist" and/or weeping like a baby. He was like the political version of pollen—in the air, inescapable, irritating. Why, I asked myself, are we giving this guy so much attention? How is he different from other right-wing provocateurs like, say, Michael Savage?

Then I realized: to find out, I would have to experience Beck firsthand. I would have to enter the belly of the beast. So last week I decided to submit. Every day for five straight days I would I tune my television to Fox News at 5 p.m. sharp. I would see what I could see.

Newsweak is pissed that Beck is killing them.

Yes they should be careful, he could get mad and just buy the rag and fire everyone.

That is something I think you don’t have to give second thought to. I used to be a long time subscriber to TIME, but when it got even more blatant i stopped.

But that's what lds believe.

Glenn Beck's political hero is a guy named W. Cleon Skousen—the "fantastic" conservative historian whose work changed his life. Beck's words there, by the way, not mine. Skousen, it turns out, was a Mormon. But he wasn't your typical Moroni-worshiping Mormon. Instead, he was the kind of Mormon who believed that Satan was collaborating with church leaders and politicians and members of the Rockefeller family to create a spooky global government called the One World Order—precisely the sort of American apocalypse that could be averted, as Joseph Smith once prophesied, only by a Mormon leader.

Ha ha ha! Romano is pure Alinsky: accuse others of what you’re doing to distract everyone from what you’re doing!

If that was what he was trying to engineer, we’d be hearing Romney, Reid, or Hatch ad nauseum.

Didn’t Newsweak say we were already Socilist and that it was a good thing on their cover a while ago????

O yeah, forgot. Where is it printed that Newsweak asked Beck if this is what he wants and his response? Or is Newsweak just speculating? If they can speculate, cannot we? May I "speculate" that Zero wants to destroy the Constitutional Republic of America? Or would Newsweak call that "hate speech" or "radical" or "fringe"?

Hey, that's it! Newsweak, by printing this speculation without any corroberation or even asking the article's subject, is now on the "fringe" - can we say "far-left fringe", or would that be "hate speech"?

This is a kook in his parents basement, it’s all Newspeak can afford to hire now. Probably wouldn’t know the difference between themselves and the rest of the murderous commies throughout history.

When they run out of other people’s money out comes the guns and gulags and when people don’t agree with that, well people them start disappear.

I wonder how this kook was able to figure Beck out. Going to have to call him on my super disgronificator and warn him.

“Still, it’s a bit of a shock to actually see a television personality in the year 2010 lumbering around a silent, empty set, mugging for the camera, and scrawling on a chalkboard in full-on “paranoid style” mode.”

So he is whining about his “style” yet has nothing to say about the substantive evidence he brings up???

“At this point, there are two types of people in America: the 10 million people who pay attention to Glenn Beck and the 294 million who try, and fail, to ignore him.”

Apparently, they have failed to notice the ratings that Chrissy Matthews is getting. Matthew’s doesn’t have anywhere near the viewers that Beck has, but unfortunately being unbiased on the issue ruins the one liner.

Based off the people in my life who are Mormon vs. the far lefties, I would rather have dinner with the Mormons.

Newsweek is a joke.

However, the goal of Mormonism is a return to theocratic communism based out of Missouri. They call it the “Millennial reign of Christ”.

And yes, I can source this.

He only wants a slight change from the current
Fascist Moron Administration
to
Fascist Mormon Administration
then. It's just a single letter.
