[history]
Pit maverick Republican Congressman Ron Paul against President Obama in a hypothetical 2012 election match-up, and the race is virtually dead even.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of likely voters finds Obama with 42% support and Paul with 41% of the vote. Eleven percent (11%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.

America’s Crazy Uncle does have some good points regarding domestic policy, I’ll grant him that. His foreign policy, however, ranges between naive and suicidal.
What really turned me off about Paul was that he basically sold his 2008 Presidential campaign over to the violently anti-war anti-Bush Truther left. You can’t tell me that thousands of college students were flocking to become Paulestinians because of his views on the gold standard, right?

You kept calling him out, though. When he wouldn’t give you a straight answer, Jim gave him the ZOT. It was a thing of beauty to watch.

Nope. We’re just getting over the target of zero’s garbage more lately, so we’re getting more flack (trolls).
But Freeper Land ZOTS back!

If they conducted a telephone poll of who the respondents would vote for in 2012, Obama would likely find himself in a tie or behind a candidate named, “Random name picked from random phonebook.” IOW, nothing to get exicted over, Ronulans. IATZ.

He might be somewhat on the limited government side Oh, please. Saying that Ron Paul is "somewhat" in favor of limited government is like saying that a sailor who's been at sea for a year is "somewhat" eager for feminine companionship.
