Pit maverick Republican Congressman Ron Paul against President Obama in a hypothetical 2012 election match-up, and the race is – virtually dead even.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of likely voters finds Obama with 42% support and Paul with 41% of the vote. Eleven percent (11%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.
Yeah, right. Smaller government through massive earmarking. It's constitutional dontcha know. Add to this idiocy that Paul is a truther, hangs with Alex Jones, wants Barney Frank to control the money supply and thinks surrender is an effective foreign policy and you have one incredible wacko. You Paultards are a trip.

Look at it this way: this shows just how weak Obama is.
Ron Paul is probably perceived as vaguely “tea party”-like, and that’s what people seem to be looking for right now.

Paul has the same chance of being the GOP nominee as Ernest T Bass. In fact, come to think of it, they could be one and the same.
I know very little about Paul. Is this true:.
His father was a minister. He is a Christian.
He is against the war and says we should only go to war if attacked on our soil.
He says the states should decide laws not the federal government. So here in Nebraska abortion, prostitution, gay marriage, drugs would likely be outlawed, but in Iowa or California they would be legal, even heroin.
What else does he believe?
I am a Christian and it makes me sick that any state could allow these things, but I hate that we have an abortionist in this state that says ok to kill a baby up to 9 months in the womb.
It would be great if our conservative money stated in conservative states. We work hard and would not have the debt like California. The liberals/communist states would not be able to survive without us. They woul not have anyone to sponge off of.
Please don’t attack me for asking these questions. I just really don’t know much about him. I’m just looking for the truth.
This is just tautological. Rasmussen self-defines the term “Political Class” to mean people who believe in the power of big government to solve our problems. The term does not mean people who work for the government.

Define truther and provide support for your statement that Paul is one. I don’t want to see something where Paul didn’t body slam them, an open minded type thing, but something where Paul said he believes that it wasn’t Muslim extremists.
There are no supported facts in your post. I have yet to get supported facts in 2x of asking for them here at FR.
As far as surrender goes . . . have you noticed our debt? If you think that we can continue to police the world I disagree. We can defend the Republic.
