Activist who challenges Obama's citizenship (Orly Taitz) is booted from Tax Day Tea Party
LA Times ^ | 04/13/2010 | Seema Mehta

After candidates complain to organizers, Orly Taitz's speaking engagement is withdrawn. Taitz has been a leading voice in the discredited 'birther' movement.

(snip)

One candidate threatened to withdraw from the event before Tuesday's decision to uninvite Taitz. John Dennis, who is running for the Republican nomination to oppose House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in San Francisco, said he would not appear on the same stage as Taitz.

"The presence of a discredited publicity seeker on the same platform with patriotic Americans distorts the focus of our movement, distracts from our common message and gives ammunition to those who continue to question our legitimacy," Dennis said in a statement.

I'd say she's put more energy than anyone to expose the Kenyan Usurper.

I have difficulty criticizing failures made against a monolithic and illegitimate regime.

Especially when I have done absolutely nothing to help nor a suggestion conveyed on how to better her cases(s)

Barack told us we cannot question his citizenship or his religion.

When Barack tells us what questions we may ask, then fight is on!

Well thankfully Breitbart promises to release more ACORN sting videos just in time for the November elections. He warned Holder to investigate or feel the consequences.

I am certainly looking forward to Breitbart’s October Surprise!

Thank you.

Nobody currently running for anything should be speaking at TP’s, IMO.

Actually the fact is that Taitz has not ‘lost” any cases, because the cases were all blocked prior to going to trail.
obama’s attorneys have managaged to block all the cases on “standing”. Under “standing “ a citizen does not have the right to question the qualification of a president. The evidence against obama all points towards him being born in Kenya, but unless the A.G. of the U.S. (holder) issues a QUO WARRANTO ( show proof that you are qualified) to obama nothing is going to happen. Article 2 of the Constitution requires that the President must be a Natural Born citizen.
The original Congress defined that meaning as being born to PARENTS who were citizens. The Supreme Court has also defined Natural Born as being born to parents who were U.S. citizens. obama does not feel that the constitution is still valid and now it should only require that one parent be a citizen not both to be a “natural born citizen”. So the question is should politicans have the right to “change “ the Constitution to fit their personal interests. There have been no Constitutional amendment to change Article 2 to allow Natural born citizenship with only one U.S. parent. Orly Taitz may be a nutcase , but in this instance she is correct, obama is not the legal President of the U.S. There is no law granting Natural Born Citizenship by merely being born on U.S. soil,if born to one parent (citizen) or to parents who are legally here but not yet citizens then you are a Native born Naturalized citizen. Article 2 was a security measure to prevent foreign influence from affecting the office of the President . The founding fathers felt that if both your parents were citizens at the time of your birth , it would limit any foreign influence.

That’s my suggestion.

I was listening to Breitbart on the radio last night (rebroadcast of the daytime Dennis Miller show).

He was talking about how ACORN, having been exposed, is now having to use new organizational names (and t-shirt colors).

Their tactics will remain the same. But the media doesn’t ever see the corruption of ACORN as “discrediting” any left wing political activism or the ties between ACORN and Obama as “discrediting” the President because of his associations with a corruption criminal organization.

McCain tried to woo the media. He was their darling when he bashed conservatives and was “The Maverick.”

How did that turn out?

The “birther” movement is only discredited in the eyes of Obama sycophants.

The Left Wing birfer movement makes this same charge about Bobby Jindal (R-LA).

“”Frankly, I have no interest in listening to a bunch of politicians at a Tea Party. The pols need to be listening to us.””

This is an outstanding point. Repeat it often. I’ll help. The rest of you?

Politicians in general should not be speaking at the tea parties. They should be listening. I like it. A lot.

I spend plenty of time fighting him on his agenda. Not all of my activism takes place on FR.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

If you have time to fight Obama on his agenda, then so do those who closely follow the issue of Obama’s eligibility.

( Is a “dud” necessary?)

You’re right. I avoid at all costs getting into the mud with the morons who bellow “what are you accusing the president of? Are you trying to say he was born in kenya? etc.”

I say I’m not accusing anyone of anything. I just want to see the documants. End Of Story. Period. Over and out.

wintertime: Well! For someone who thinks it is sooooooo important to "fight Obama on his agenda" you are wasting a lot of time on the eligibility issue.

Tex: I spend plenty of time fighting him on his agenda. Not all of my activism takes place on FR.

wintertime: If you have time to fight Obama on his agenda, then so do those who closely follow the issue of Obama’s eligibility.

What exactly is your point?

Orly is a she, not a he. She has lost every court case and was held in contempt of court, I believe, in federal court in Columbus, GA. She embarrasses me, this Tea Party speaker and is a detriment to those who honestly doubt Obama is eligible to be President.

The judges have been enforcing the Constitution. The problem is that the Constitution is flawed. It only allows the Electoral College and Congress to determine eligibility. Thus, nobody else has ‘standing’ in the court’s eyes. That has been the verdict every time it has gone to court.
